Members of the staff shown from left to right are: Almethia, better known as “Twista,” Lena, Kathy, and Madison.
When “Madison,” opened the doors of Madison’s Weave & Braid Shop, 4707 E. Busch Blvd., on Valentine’s Day, she decided to give back every month.
The method she selected was to have a raffle each month. Last month, she held a Mother’s Day raffle and the lucky winner was Ms. Audrey Acosta.
Ms. Acosta spent an after- noon with staff members Shana, Shiesha, Almethia (better known as “Twista,”), Lena, Kathy and Madison.
Madison caters to older women who wear weave and braids. And, she said she can see the growth of the business since it opened.
