         MRS. GRISELDA Y. COLLINS ‘YVETTE’
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Griselda Y. Collins known to many as “Yvette” will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Mission- ary Baptist Church, 2002 North Rome Avenue, Tampa, with Rev- erend Dr. C.T. Kirkland, Pastor as officiator.
On July 25, 1966 in Brooklyn, New York, God blessed the union ofCarlton and Jeanell Gray (both deceased) with a beautiful baby girl they named Griselda Yvette. Yvette spent her young years growing up in New York City with her parents and brother Carlton Don Gray Jr., (deceased). After tragically los- ing her beloved brother Donnie, the family relocated to Tampa, Florida.
Yvette was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, graduating from C. Leon King High School in 1984. Yvette attended Concorde Ca- reer Institute and successfully graduated with a medical assis- tant certificate.
She served as a Guardian Ad Litem for foster children, pro- viding them with a loving and nurturing home. Yvette was a beloved member of the commu- nity and a longstanding member of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church where she devot- edly served with the usher board and adult choir. Yvette worked as a Security Officer for 15 yearsand was a Public Notary.
Griselda Yvette Collins de- parted this life on Friday, April 13, 2018 after a lengthy illness.
She leaves her cherished memories to her loving and de- voted children: Pria U. Collins, Campion E. Collins, Timothy D. Collins Jr., Shayla Y. Collins. all of Tampa. Loving Grandchil- dren: Braylon Collins, Daevon Johnson, Jayceon Hargrett, A’shya Collins. Father-in-law: Roland Collins. Beloved sisters: Renee Mitchell, Carletha Gray, Thelma Williams, Rhonda Thomas and Linda Gray. In- laws: Terri Collins and Marcus Mitchell, Sr; Devoted Aunt: De- lores Williams; Supportive Un- cles: Charles Collins (PearlieMae), Norris Collins (Dr. Carolyn), and Robert Collins. Mr. James Emory Britt of Tampa passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Tampa General Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 28, at 2 p. m. at Ray Williams Memo- rial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Av- enue, with Apostle T. B. Davis of Greater Love Christian Center, Plant City, FL, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. James Emory Britt was a resident of Tampa for 57 years. He was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and a member of Greater Love Chris- tian Center, Plant City, Florida. He was employed with the City Of Tampa Waste Water Manage- ment.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Britt, Jr., brother, Reginald Britt and sister, Barbara Joyner.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Rominka Josiah; his fiancée, Donna Davis; his mother, Massalena Echols; four sisters, Silvia Mill- house, Shawanda Spencer (Ron- nie), Rhonda Grayson (Willie), and Tracie Coleman (Emory); one brother, James Christopher; one step-brother, Benjamin Echols (Victoria); four grand- children, Jeremiah Josiah, Jr., Jah’meria Josiah, Jah’melah Josiah, and Travis Lewis, Jr.; two close friends, Pastor Lenny Washington and Melvin Bell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, April 27, at Ray Williams Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Ira James Edwards will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church Of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Boulevard, Tampa, Florida, with Dr. Sam Maxwell, Sr./ Senior Teaching Pastor, of- ficiating.
On Saturday, April 21, 2018, Ira transitioned from his earthly home to his Heavenly home.
Ira Edwards was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Ed- wards; his father, Darnell Ed- wards; brothers, Wade Edwards, Sr. and Alfred Davis; sisters, Joyce Lemons and Margaret Ed- wards Dixon.
Ira leaves his legacy with his 7 children, Sheryl Lockette (Robert), Tony Edwards, Lisa Allen (HL), Ilene Cobb (Michael), Irita Nelson (Sha), Mark Carter (Ursel) and Michael Carter; grandchildren, Teara Sails, Ciera Bennett, Curtis Sails, Alexis Bennett, Michael Garner, Jr., Savannah Maultsby, Kennedy Cobb, Skylar Nelson, Dylan Carter, Griffin Carter and Olivia Carter; great- grandchildren, Tyern Sails and Peyton Sails; a devoted mother, Ida Edwards; siblings, Barnell Edwards, Geneva Clark (Charles), Jackie Edwards (Debra) and Vanessa Williams; aunties, Mae Ola Smith, Larsen Edwards, Meryl Lee Anderson, Bernice Harrison and Mae Lois Dones; sisters-in-law, Linda Parker-Edwards, Wilhelmina Dorsey; brother-in-law, Willie Lemons, Sr.; devoted cousin, Dewey Davis, Sabrina Brown; nieces and nephews, Sonia, Snuke, Karen, Tunk, Raquel, Amanda, Renee, Man, Denard, Koolie, Barry, Ebe, Big D, Regina, Kim and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Ira James Edwards was born on December 16, 1946, in Grady County, Georgia to the union of Ida and the late Darnell Edwards. Ira attended the pub- lic schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Mid- dleton High School, home of the Tigers. Ira was employed by Don’s Bakery, now known as Alessi’s Bakery as a Baker. Ira was one of the first black man- agers of the 7-Eleven conven- ience stores and was later employed by Sears & Roebuck Co., where he retired from.

Ms. Mary Joyce Williams Bowers was born in Thomasville Georgia to the late Henry and Ceola Watkins on November 23, 1954. She was employed at Sin- gleton Seafood Company for many years before being dis- abled.
On March 31, 2018 she en- tered her eternal rest.
Visitation will be held on Fri- day, April 27, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa. Pri- vate Interment at Rest Haven Memorial Park.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his mother, Pastor Tommie Mae White-Williams; father, Mr. Leroy White and other love ones.

Mr. Otis White, Sr. was born on June 27, 1946 to the parent- age of Tommie Mae White and Leroy White in Leslie, Georgia. As a baby he moved to Tampa, Florida where he attended the schools of Hillsborough County. Mr. White was a graduate from Middleton High School. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God Of Jesus Christ, Inc.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, April 27, 2018 from 5 – 7 p. m. at the Pentecostal Church Of God Of Jesus Christ, Inc., 4705 N. 26th Street, Tampa, Florida 33610.
