Beyoncé's history-mak- ing performance at 2018's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is the gift that keeps on giving.
Homecoming — billed as "A Film By Beyoncé" — is Queen Bey's latest concert documentary, unveiling a close-up perspective at the often-guarded pop superstar in the midst of preparing for her headlining festival per- formance.
Homecoming is set for re- lease on Netflix April 17.
Netflix has released an of- ficial trailer.” The snippet, is behind-the-scenes footage of Beyoncé and her assemble of performers in the weeks, days and moments leading up to Beychella — including a snippet of Blue Ivy mim-
icking her mother's choreog- raphy — is all set to audio of a Maya Angelou interview.
Toward the end, an inter- viewer asks Angelou, "What advice would you have to give to this generation?," to which Angelou responds, "Tell the truth, to yourself first, and to the children.”
Beyoncé's show-stop- ping performance marks plenty of milestones for the superstar. The 2018 per- formance was the first time a Black woman headlined Coachella in the festival's history. It also served as her victory lap for the superstar after the birth of her twins, Rumi and Sir, which prompted the performer to cancel her Coachella appear- ance in 2017.

A1 To Release New Album Featuring Chris Brown, T-Pain And More
Love and Hip Hop L.A.
star A1 has produced hit songs for a lot of artists.
Floyd “A1” Bentley has produced and co-written hits for artists such as Chris Brown, Omarion, Gucci Mane, Ty Dolla Sign, French Montana, G-Eazy, Jeremih and more but many fans may know him from his role on Love & Hip Hop in- stead.
A1 is now releasing a full length project as an artist fea- turing the very underrated lead single ‘Toot That Whoa Whoa’ featuring Chris Brown.
Other artists assisting him on the project are T-Pain, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Chris Brown, O.T. Genasis, Fabolous, Nelly, Ty Dolla Sign and more.
Atlanta-based executive producer Will Packer cre- ated the film “Little” well aware of the over-sized shadow of standard bearer of body swap movies, Tom Hanks’ 1988 comedy “Big.” But he tried to get out from under that crowd favorite to carve out his own take, which is less nuanced and set in modern-day Atlanta. It comes out in theaters Friday (today), April 12.
Regina Hall - a go-to ac- tress for Packer in films such as “Think Like a Man” and “Girls Trip” - stars as Jordan Sanders, a domineering, abusive Atlanta-based tech boss who makes the life of her employees and assistant April (Issa Rae of “Insecure” fame) miserable.
Bullied at age 13 for being different, Jordan built a tough exterior to ensure that would never happen again. In 2019, a child she insults places a hex on her so she becomes her 13 years old self again physically but retains all the knowledge (and fashion sense) of a 38 year old. Teen “Black-ish” star Marsai Mar- tin, who pitched the idea of the film to Packer, plays the younger version with all-nat-
ural hair and over-sized glasses.
“I was pleasantly sur- prised,” said Packer, who gets pitched all the time. “”It was well thought out. She had scenes in her head and charac- ters in her mind. It gave us enough of a foundation to build a movie.”
And so the comedy goes, with goofy corporal punish- ment in a school parking lot, spontaneous Mary J. Blige karaoke in a Four Seasons Hotel restaurant and an eighth-grade Jordan flirting with a weirded-out teacher played by “This is Us” star Justin Hartley.
Packer is proud of the film’s female-centric feel. There are three black women leads and a black female direc- tor Tina Gordon, who wrote screenplays for “ATL” and “What Men Want,” among others.
He said one of the key rela- tionships in the movie is the one between Rae’s character April and Jordan. Once Jordan is forced into a child role she didn’t anticipate, she begins to comprehend how toxic her behavior has been and a genuine friendship blos- soms between the two women.
