Bradenton Man Accidentally Falls Off Skyway Bridge

.....fell 30 feet into Tampa Bay off the Skyway Bridge.
On Sunday night, the driver of a vehicle crossing the Sunshine Skyway Bridge accidentally fell 30 feet off the bridge while trying to change a tire.
According to officials, the incident occurred when the SUV Reginald White was driving suffered a blow out on the Manatee County side of the bridge at 9:20 p. m. The SUV was occupied by White and two passengers.
White, 43, was report- edly trying to change the tire when he backed up to
avoid traffic and acciden- tally fell over a thigh-high wall on the bridge, police said.
White fell 30 feet into Tampa Bay, but was able to swim to a piling and held on until he was pulled from the water.
White was transported to a local hospital for treat- ment of minor injuries. The other two people in the ve- hicle were not injured.
The incident is being in- vestigated by the Florida Highway Patrol.
