Community Clean-Up

Progress Village resi- dents, now is the time to get rid of your old furniture, ap- pliances, clean up your yards, storage sheds and even your closets. Bring your unwanted and discarded items to the park. There will be dump- sters to discard everything that does not go into your regular weekly trash.
Note: Seniors 65 years and older, you may contact
Linda Washington at 813- 741-3604 for curbside pick- up. You will need to have items to the curb by 8 a. m. on Saturday. If you are not on the list your items may not be picked up.
Acceptable items at dumpsters: old refrigerators, ovens, water heaters, steel and other metals, old furni- ture (such as couches, chairs, tables and mattresses), con- struction debris (such as concrete, bricks, glass and roofing materials), tires, tel- evisions, microwaves com- puters and radios.
Note: You will be asked to show ID for valid residence in Progress Village.
Volunteers needed to help with clean up and com- munity distribution.
Free Food and Entertain- ment Cleanup project made possible by Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, Office of Neighborhood Relations, Public Utilities Department and Hillsborough Commu- nity College.
