  CDC Of Tampa To Host Youth Leadership Event In Partnership With Middleton High School
 The Corporation to Develop Com- munities (CDC) of Tampa, in partner- ship with Middleton High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), is proud to host a virtual workshop, “Youth and You: Leading in Times of Change.” The event seeks to encourage young people to develop leadership skills by setting personal goals to become upstanding citizens in their communities. The event will be held on Thursday, Febru- ary 11, 2021, at 9AM via Zoom.
Keynote Speaker Jameis Win- ston, NFL quarterback and CDC Su- perSponsor, donated $50,000 to CDC of Tampa 2021. The event is spon- sored in part by Hillsborough Com- munity College Foundation, which awarded their 2021 Social Justice Community Project Award to CDC of Tampa.

Ernest Coney, President of CDC of Tampa, says of the event, “Our youth are facing unprecedented chal- lenges, in the face of this pandemic. This virtual conference will help them to continue to develop leadership skills in the face of uncertainty and provide examples of success that they can adopt to thrive.”
