Cowboy Life: Florida's Black Cowboys Past & Present

The Afro-American Historical & Genealogical Society, pres- ent an open house featuring the Florida Agricultural Museum's touring exhibit Florida's Black Cowboy's, Past & Present. This open house will highlight the story of Africans and African Americans in the cattle industry of Florida, from the herding traditions of their African roots, to the complex world of ranch- ing today. A local group called the "Cowbros" will also join in this presentation. The Florida Agricultural Museum touring ex- hibit will be on display at the Robert W. Saunders, Sr. Public Li- brary throughout the month of March.
