Judge Blocks Auction Of ‘Reasonable Doubt’ NFT
DAME DASH AND JAY-Z
Kevin Hart Says Barack Obama Got Involved
A U. S. District Court judge handed a legal victory to Roc- A-Fella, ruling to block the auction of the Reasonable Doubt NFT...for now. Accord- ing to The Hollywood Re- porter, Judge John Cronan granted the record label a tem- porary restraining order that would prevent the sale of the non-fungible token — an act they accused co-founder Damon Dash of trying.
In a lawsuit filed against Dash, Roc-A-Fella alleged that Dash was planning to auction the NFT on June 23 on SuperFarm, but JAY-Z’s lawyer Alex Spiro wrote a warning letter to the market- place that briefly halted the sale. The label argued that Dash had “no right to sell the
copyright or any individual ownership interests in Rea- sonable Doubt” because he did not own the rights to JAY’s debut project.
As REVOLT previously re- ported, the auction announce- ment from SuperFarm advertised the transfer of the Reasonable Doubt copyright to the highest bidder.
“This marks a new mile- stone in the history of NFTs, entitling the new owner to fu- ture revenue generated by the unique asset...,” the an- nouncement read. “The newly minted NFT will prove owner- ship of the album’s copyright, transferring the rights to all future revenue generated by the album from Damon Dash to the auction winner.”
The Netflix movie "Father- hood" is not just unique be- cause it features Kevin Hart in a dramatic role, but also because it's one of the rare times onscreen where a Black father is portrayed in a posi- tive light.
Because of that, the movie grabbed the attention of Barack and Michelle Obama, whose production company, Higher Ground, is attached to the Netflix film, out Friday.
"I got to talk to Obama," Hart told Insider, adding that the former president is a film buff. "He really saw the opportunity in this movie for positive messaging attached to a Black man being a good father."
‘FATHERHOOD’
In the movie, Hart plays a
father who raises his daugh- ter alone after the death of his wife during childbirth.
The comedian said even before the Obamas got in- volved in "Fatherhood,"

Barack was a supporter of his career.
"He has always shown a high level of love and support for the things I've done, which is dope as hell," he added.
‘F9’ Rockets To Huge $70M
Pandemic-Era Record
Opening Domestically
The Fast and Furious 9 has put the theaters back into business. F9 raced to a huge $70 million debut at the weekend box office, a pan- demic-era record for North America and the biggest do- mestic opening since Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in December 2019.
The ninth installment in the Fast and Furious Saga is a much-needed boost for the theatrical experience and a major win for Universal, which decided to delay F9 an entire year early on in the

Globally, the ninth install-
