  Moses White Estates
A Tampa businessman, Moses White opened four businesses on Central Avenue during the 1950s and helped establish the African Ameri- can Central Avenue Business District. The first business was the Deluxe Cosey Corner Sandwich Shop, in 1932.
Other businesses included the Palm Dinette Restaurant, the Flamingo Rooming House, and the Four Walls Club. White continued to serve as a businessman and community leader through- out his life.
In 1967, after the riots in Tampa, White helped to re- store peace in the commu- nity. In 1977, he moved the Cosey Corner to Main Street in West Tampa.
White died in 1984.
