‘Black Panther’ Premieres And The Epic Film Is Being Called ‘The Best’
Ellen DeGeneres Pays For The Boys And Girls Club Of Harlem To See ‘Black Panther’
The viral hashtag #Black- PantherChallenge, started by New York’s Frederick Joseph, inspired people every- where to help raise money for kids to see Marvel’s highly-an- ticipated movie, Black Panther.
Not only do the children at the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem get to see the movie at no cost, but they get to keep the $42,000 raised.
Joseph sat alongside Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman on the Ellen De- Generes Show, where Ellen pledged to cover the cost of the movie screening for the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem.
The $42,000 they raised on GoFundMe will be donated di- rectly to the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem to support other im- portant programs, according to a GoFundMe press release.

GoFundMe created a cen- tralized location to allow any- one to start or donate to a GoFundMe to help more chil- dren see Black Panther.
Black Panther comes to theaters February 16, but the world premiere in Los Ange- les was Monday night and it was everything!
Chadwick Boseman- brought his regal energy, An- gela Bassett charmed with her age-less beauty, Lupita Nyong’o stunned the crowd with her luminous presence– the entire red (actually pur- ple) carpet was a royal African slay.
Beyond the talented cast of Black Panther, much of Black Hollywood showed up and showed out to support the film.
Fans and critics who saw the "Black Panther" at the premiere have proclaimed it the best Marvel movie to date.
Ryan Coogler's film, which stars Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa, an African prince ruling the fic- tional kingdom of Wakanda whose alter ego is the super- hero Black Panther, has been hotly anticipated - but few predicted the universal praise it has received after its debut.
Among those blown away by the movie were Umberto Gonzalez, a film reporter for The Wrap, who wrote on Twitter, "I think the argu- ment can be made for #BlackPanther being the best Marvel film ever! Just got out of premiere & overwhelmed at the imagery, the majesty, & a film that elevates the super- hero genre to new heights."
The stars were also pres- ent at the premiere and spoke to reporters about what they loved about the movie, the first superhero blockbuster to feature a majority black cast. St. Petersburg native, An- gela Bassett, who plays Ra-

monda, T'Challa's royal mother told Variety that she was delighted to see a group of black actors and filmmak- ers get the chance to create a superhero epic about an ad- vanced African society.
Asked about what she loved about the movie she said, "To see all these beauti- ful, talented black people all in one place, this black na- tion, coming together, tech- nologically advanced with so much swag and brilliance."
Describing the film's new take on the superhero genre, Oscar nominee Daniel Kaluuya, who stars as
T'Challa's best friend and security chief, W'Kabi, added, "This is how it's sup- posed to be, this is the actual world and this reflects the world and we have to tell honest stories from all per- spectives, not just one."
Basically, everything about this Ryan Coogler di- rected production works ... from the cast to the story to his directing to acting and of course the kick-butt action and special effects.
Social media has gone wild and film critics have nothing but praise for the epic film.

Mrs. Michelle Obama has selected Ellen De- Generes for her first post- White House TV interview.
The former first lady will ap- pear on Thursday’s Ellen De- Generes Show to help celebrate the host’s 60th birth-
