NBA Players Who Tested Positive For Coronavirus Share Major Health Update
CARMELO ANTHONY AND LEBRON JAMES
RUDY GOBERT AND DONOVAN MITCHELL
Some good news on a Fri- day afternoon: the first two NBA players to have tested positive for COVID-19 have been cleared of the virus and given a clean bill of health.
Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz confirmed on March 11 that they tested positive for coronavirus, but after weeks of isolation and medical care, they are now corona-free. What's more, the entire Jazz team and staff have been cleared by the Utah Depart- ment of Health, the team said in a statement.
"The UDOH has deter- mined that all Jazz players and staff, including two who tested positive for the novel coron- avirus, no longer pose a risk of infection to others," wrote

For Carmelo Anthony and retired Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade, they’ve de- cided to spend time speaking with one another on Insta- gram Live.
According to Melo, Le- Bron James saved him while their group was swim- ming in the ocean. After a strong current began to pull Anthony out to sea, James jumped off the boat to grab his friend and swim him back to safety.
"I look up and the cur- rent is taking me into the middle of the ocean, oppo- site from the boat," An- thony said. "Then I look up at the boat and I see Bron,
Bron jumps off the boat like he's MacGyver. He jumps off the boat into the water. He was bringing me back with one arm. He's swim- ming with the other arm, and he's carrying in one arm."
James, a three-time NBA champion and 16-time All-Star, is once again hav- ing an MVP-caliber NBA season at age 35.
That said, Wade believes that him rescuing Carmelo is just as impressive.
"That was special," An- thony said. "He saved my life. Yo Bron, I appreciate that. You saved my life that day."
