  Tampa Native One Of Four Appointed
 To BRP Group Board Of Directors
   MYRON K. WILLIAMS
Tampa native Myron K. Williams was one of four new appointees to the Board of Directors of BRP Group, Inc. (Baldwin Risk Partner). The appointments of Sunita Parasuraman, Ellyn J. Shook, Myron K. Williams, and Kristo- pher A. Wiebeck to its Board of Directors, becomes effective January 1, 2022. Williams currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
He is being appointed to the Nominating and Corpo- rate Governance Commit- tee.
BRP is a very nimble, fast-paced, forward think-
ing insurance distribution company out of Tampa. It’s traded on Nasdaq with a book value of $4 billion and growing.
The board selection was a nationwide search con- ducted by Brett Stephens, CEO of RSR Partners, out of New York City. Chris Sul- livan, co-founder of Out- back Steakhouse, is on this board.
Williams previously served as the Sales Strategy and Sales Operations Presi- dent at United Parcel Serv- ice, Inc. (UPS). In this role, he oversaw data analytics, sales budget, sales compen- sation and performance, CRM technology, business development, sales strategy and training, process im- provement, negotiations, and executive presenta- tions.
Williams holds a B.B.A. from Albany State Univer- sity in Albany, GA, and a M.B.A. from Florida Metro- politan University at Tampa College.
He is a member of Omega Psi Phi! XE Chi Ep- silon Chapter Spring 1981 - 40 plus years.
Envision Events To Host Holiday Fundraiser With A Purpose

On Thursday, December 23, 2021, Ms. Emma P. Griffith-Brooks, owner of En- vision Events, is hosting a holiday celebra- tion and fundraiser.
The event tilted The We Cuttin’ Up Christ- mas Party will be held from 8:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. at the American Legion Post 111, 6918 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33604.
The cost is $35 per person and will be used to fund the annual “Presents for the Home- less” program. There will be food, drinks, and entertainment. A Miller Entertainment will also be hosting.
The colors are black and red. The event will celebrate beauty professionals, hair styl- ists, nail techs, and eyelash experts who have gone to extraordinary lengths to serv- ice clients during the pandemic.
Whether they were working in a salon, or at home, estheticians went the extra mile states Griffith-Brooks.
People are encouraged to come out and support their favorite beauty professional and at the same time, help the homeless.
Every year, Griffith-Brooks has a hol- iday giveaway called, “Presents for the Homeless.” She emphasizes
that everyone wants and de-
serves at least one Christmas
present.
On Christmas Day, the presents purchased from the proceeds will be given to the homeless.
Griffith-Brooks works with the homeless frequently. She serves meals and helps the homeless with small jobs.
