AIKENS
MR. RICHARD NORRIS DIXON
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Richard Norris Dixon, who passed away on Sunday, De- cember 5, 2021, will be held on Wednesday, December 22nd, 10:00 a.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Patricia Carithers officiating.
Interment will be in Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota,
FL.
Richard was born on Decem-
ber 13, 1964, to Kenneth and Edna Dixon, in Sunnyside, Span- ishtown Jamaica. He loved fish- ing, playing dominos with friends, and traveling both state- side and abroad. He also loved spending time with his family.
Richard was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Edna and Kenneth Dixon; grandparents, Harold and Doris Sawyers; uncles, Jean, Norman, and Larry Sawyers; and niece, Princess Hosang.
He leaves cherished memo- ries with: his wife, Rozail Dixon; his children, Liberty Dixon, Richard Jacob Dixon, Joseph Dixon, Alton Dixon, Sophia Dixon; brothers, Freddy Singh, Michael Dixon, Colin Dixon (Joyce), William Singh, and Evan Singh; sisters, Sonia Singh, Patricia Carithers (Gary), An- gela Singh, and Marva Solomone (Barry); aunts, Loretta Hardin (Trevor), Valda Seratan, Gloria Sawyers, and Carol Sawyers; un- cles, Bradley Sawyers, and Roy Sawyers (Bethann); cousin, Lloyd Jumpp; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Tues- day, December 21st, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the Chapel on Wednesday for the service.

BROTHER GEORGE M. WILLIAMS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. George Williams, who passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, will be held on Thurs- day, December 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Springhill M.B. Church, 8119 E. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd., Tampa, Florida, Rev. Eu- gene Garnett, Pastor.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. for an hour prior to funeral service.
George was born July 3, 1945, in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, to the Late Dea- con Otis and Deaconess Victoria Lewis. He attended Middleton High School and was graduate in the class of 1964.
He also attended and gradu- ated from Edward Waters Col- lege in Jacksonville, Florida, receiving an associate degree as a surgeon technician.
He worked in the operation room at Centre Espanol Hospi- tal for 24 years as a manager and later at Tampa Outpatient Surgery Center until his retire- ment.
George was introduced to Christ at an early age by his par- ents and was a member of the Mt. Olive M.B. Church, under
the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. C.P. Epps, and later he joined the New St. Matthews M.B. Church under Rev. Dr. Willie J. Haynes and has been a faithful member and servant for 16 years at Springhill M.B. Church, under his current Pas- tor Eugene Garnett. George was the Chairman of Trustees, served with the Men’s Ministry and sang with the Male Chorus until his health began to fail rapidly after he attended his last service on November 21, 2021.
He was preceded in death by: his parents: Otis and Victo- ria Lewis; his aunts, Ollie Mae Pleadge and Lillie Mae Bryant; 2 uncles, James and Rumeal Miller, and cousin, Ms. Con- stant Bryant.
He leave to cherish his memory: a devoted daughter, Martina Moore Ayamike and husband, Itse; grandson, Micah Johnson; brother, Pastor Alphonso Lewis and wife, Lady Angela; niece, Trinika Lewis; great niece and nephew, Davani Beck and Damari Johnson; god son, Atsou Ayah; extended fam- ily, Latesea Moore, Martinique Moore, Miquel Moore, Madio Moore and Mauricio Moore; aunts, Mary Lee Porter, of Homestead, FL; and Faye Lewis, of Tampa, FL.; cousins, Patricia (Raymond) Lee, Jim- mie Hedgemon (Jackie) of Tal- lahassee, FL, Booker T. Bryant of Plant City, FL, Marion Lewis, Felix Ryal (Dorothy) of Miami, FL, Sherell Elaine and Shirley Lewis, Gary Lewis, Marion (Shaveyla) Lewis, Fannie Copeland and family; along with some Special Friends: Dea. In Loving Memory of Miss Alysia LaShawn Nelson who passed away on December 14, 2021. Homegoing Services were held to celebrate her life on Wednesday December 22, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Revealing Truth Min- istries, 5201 North Armenia Av- enue Tampa, FL, 33603, Pastors Bryan and Rashida Powe, Senior Pastors; Pastor Michael Austin, officiated the service. The Late Miss Alysia LaShawn Nelson was then laid to rest in Rose Hill Me- morial Park.
Miss Alysia LaShawn Nelson, affectionately known as “Mooka,” was born on November 26, 1989, in Tampa, FL.
Alysia graduated from Spoto High School. She was a current student at St. Pete College. She was also a member of Revealing Truth Ministries.

MR. JOE LOUIS WATSON
Homegoing Services for Joe Louis Watson who passed away in Germany on November 26, 2021, will be held Monday, December 27, 2021, at 11am, at Trinity CME Church, 3558 North 29th Street Tampa, Florida, 33605 with Ser- vant Ronald Mack Servant of Mira- cle Signs and Wonders Ministries officiating. Interment, with mili- tary honors, will be made in Florida National Cemetery Bush- nell, Florida.
Joe L. Smith Watson was born on March 16, 1948, to Myrtle and Charlie Mack, in Swainsburg, Georgia.
Joe attended several schools here in Tampa and graduated from Blake High School.
He went to Gibbs Junior Col- lege in St. Petersburg, where he was a star basketball player and was set to be drafted to the NBA.
Instead, he was drafted to the United States Army. He joined the Army on April 18, 1969. His last date of service was April 17, 1975. While serving in the military, he was promoted to Sergeant. He re- ceived the National Defense Serv- ice Medal, Sharpshooter M-14, Marksman M-16 and Expert Grenade.
He became a permanent resi- dent of Germany on May 28th, 1971. He worked as a Product Sup- port Engineer for a company named Pan Dacom Networking AG. He was employed there from January 1, 1998 - April 1st, 2012 when he retired.
He was a dedicated father who loved his children and family very much. He enjoyed photography and traveling often to Florida to visit with his family.
He was preceded in death by: his mother and father, Charlie and Myrtle Mack; sister, Anne Brown; brothers, Robert, Sr., Kennedy, Sr., Charlie, II, and Leon, Sr.
