Faith-Based Organizations Unite To Help Hurricane Victims In Bahamas Islands

By the Grace of God Ministries and other faith- based organiza- tions are partnering to help the Bahamas hurricane victims devas- tated for several days by Hurricane Dorian in September. Pastor Flo- rence Howell- Parra of By the Grace of God (Tampa) is spear- heading the effort.
“Planes to the Bahamas leave every Saturday to drop supplies in the Islands,” she said. “We want to be able to send supplies each time the plane leaves,” she added.
She has joined several others to
travel to the Islands to assist in whatever capacity they were needed.
Donations are still being ac- cepted and can be dropped off at Tampa-Hillsborough Action Plan (THAP), 5508 50th St.
Or, donations are being ac- cepted at By the Grace of God Church, 3313 E. Shadowlawn St., during the following days and times: Mondays and Wednesdays, 1p.m.–3p.m.,andThursdays,6 p. m.-8 p. m.
A bank account has also been set up at PNC Bank. Make checks payable to By the Grace of God Ministries.
