WILSON
MR. EDDIE ELLISON
Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Eddie Ellison, who passed on Sep- tember 27, 2019, will be held on Sat- urday, October 5th, 2019, at 2 p. m. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, Tampa, Florid,a with Rev. T. D. Leonard, officiating. Interment will be on Monday, October 7, 2019, at Florida National Cemetery, Bush- nell, Florida, with Military Honors conducted by the United States Army.
Mr. Eddie Ellison was born to the union of William Ellison, Sr. and Melvina Hannah Ellison on March 2, 1930 in Lacoochee, Florida.
His early education was in Pasco County. Mr. Ellison later moved to Tampa and was a student of Middleton High School, Class of 1948. He retired from the U. S. Postal Service after many years of dedicated service.
After a few years of enjoying re- tirement at the age of 72, he went back to work as a part time em- ployee with Hillsborough County, delivering meals to the elderly. He worked for 11 years before retiring a second time. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army.
Eddie enjoyed traveling from the east coast to the west coast. He spent many summers in the moun- tains of North Carolina fishing with the kids (Meca, Ken, Howard and Chere). After his wife retired, they began travelling out of the country.
Mr. Ellison was preceded in death by: his parents, William Elli- son, Sr. and Melvina Hannah Elli- son; his daughter and sister.
Cherished memories will re- main with: his wife, Alberta S. Elli- son; son, Dwayne Singletary; daughters, Linda Moon and hus- band, Hylon, Wanda Hollins and husband, Edward; brother, William Ellison, Jr. (Ira Mae); a host of grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins; brothers-in-law, Clarence Gaines (Nara),
William Singletary; sisters-in- law, Bennie Snipes and Vera Luckey (Earl); longtime friend from his childhood, Alfonso Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day October 4, 2019, at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, from 5 – 8 p. m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 – 7 p. m.
Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at approxi- mately 1:45 p. m. for the service.

MR. ROBERT CLAYTON
The Homegoing Service for Mr. Robert Clayton, who departed this life on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, will be held on Saturday, Oc- tober 5, 2019, at 12 p. m., at Greater New Hope Anointed Ministries, 2104 Mud Lake Road, Plant City, FL 33566.
Visitation will be Friday, Octo- ber 4, 2019, from 5:30 p. m. to 7:30 p. m. at Greater New Hope Anointed Ministries. Reverend Robert Brown, of the Church of the Living GOD Pillar Ground in Truth, will officiate.
Robert was born July 4, 1939, in Plant City, Florida, to the late Elder David Clayton and Oviolir Williams Clayton. He grew up in the church and attended the Church of the Living God Pillar Ground in Truth, in Plant City. He attended Simmons Elementary School and graduated from Mar- shall High School, in Plant City.
In 1962, Robert was drafted into the U. S. Army and received an honorable discharge in 1965. He married his sweetheart, Mary Joyce King, of Plant City, on Sep- tember 4, 1965. Together they de- voted their lives to raising two daughters, Karla DeShong Clayton and Dr. LaNetra Clayton Tate.
As a young man, Robert began working for the Agrico Phosphate Mine before joining CSX Railroad. After 33 years of service, Robert re- tired as Conductor in 2001.
Throughout his life, family was his main focus. He had a full life as a loving husband, doting father, de- voted son, caring brother, encour- aging uncle, and sincere friend. He was a role model and father figure for his nieces and nephews, nurtur- ing them with lifelong fondness and love. With a warm heart, Robert displayed so many moments of sup- port, encouragement, and respect to all. Throughout his lifetime, there are endless stories of his love and kindness for his family.
To cherish his memory, Robert Clayton, a gentle and humble man, leaves: a loving wife of 54 years, Mary Joyce King Clayton, of Plant City; two loving daughters: Karla DeShong Clayton, Plant City, Dr. LaNetra C. Tate, and a devoted son- in-law, Brian J. Tate, Ashburn, Vir- ginia; two grandsons, Derrick L. Moultry and Jairus Adam Tate; two surviving siblings: Lawrence Evans, Plant City, and Delois Washington (Ernest Washington), Tampa; two surviving sisters-in-law: Graycell Smith, Plant City, and Dr. Gwen- dolyn King, Montgomery, AL; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
FAMILY NOTICE
MR. JOHN SNEED, JR.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. John Sneed, Jr., 63, was held on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at the Cremations of Greater Tampa Bay,
Inc.Mr. Sneed, who was a native of Nashville, TN, passed on September 25, 2019, as a result of multiple myeloma.
He was born to the late John Sneed, Sr., and Dorothy Sneed.
He was a student at Cumberland Jr. High School, where his basket- ball introduction began. He was a graduate of Father Ryan High School, class of 1974. He furthered his education at Vanderbilt Univer- sity, from 1974 —- 1978, where he was one of the few African American basketball starts. He also had the opportunity to play in Belgium and France.
Once returning to the U. S., he completed his degree in Computer Sciences. He worked for the Hill- Rom Corporation for 20 years and as of recent, became a Real Estate Agent.
John had such a zest for life. He was well-informed about health, wealth, and wisdom. He was an avid reader and was always interested in current trends, such as herbs, crypto-currency, and the stock mar- ket. He even studied Religion and re-devoted his life to the Lord. His most challenging goal was complet- ing the 2019 Gasparilla 5K Distance Walk.
Cherishing his memories are: mother, Dorothy; wife, Dierdre; children, Keybi, Kylah, Kyle and Kyra; sister, Pamela Smith (Henry); brothers, Michael Sneed and Ben- jamin Sneed; the McGregor Family; aunts, Carrie Greene, Barbara, Louise, and Pauline; uncle, James Greene; nieces, Tiffany Williams, Aleya Sneed, Taryn Sneed, Taylor Sneed, and Lisa Sneed; nephew, Micheal Sneed; cousins, Wilma Garvin, Joseph Garvin, Phoebe Sneed, and Monica Johnson (Leon).
