High School Signing Day
Wednesday, February 1, 2017, was a busy day for athletes in Hillsbor- ough County, starting with Jesuit High School signings at 7:15 a. m. and throughout the day, concluding with H. B. Plant High School at 4 p. m. at 1 Buc Place. These athletes joined hun- dreds across the country as they com- mitted to the colleges and universities of their choice on National Signing Day.

Hillsborough County Athletes Commit To
H. B. Plant High School held its signing at 1 Buc Plant on Wednesday afternoon. The players are shown with their coach, Robert Weiner, center.
Jefferson High School — Signees with Bernard Cannon, Athletic Di- rector, left, and Robert Quinn the Principal. Signees: Jbril Glaze (Vir- ginia Tech), Oscar Gonzalez (Warner), Alvin Baker (Warner), Jesus Gonzalez (Warner), and Jean Marcellus (USF).
The Titans at Tampa Bay Tech signees were: Thomas Covington, Lake Erie College; Anthony Payne, II, Lake Erie College; Angelo Owens, Jr., Lake Erie College; Paul Taylor, II, Western Kentucky; Freddrick Dray- ton, Bishop State College; Jelani Lovett, Lake Erie College; and Daquon Green, University of Florida.
