34th Street Church Of God Celebrated 107 Years
The 34th Street Church of God celebrated 107 years of operation in November. Currently under the lead- ership of Bishop Thomas Scott, the historic timeline, from 1914 t0 2021 was written by Mrs. Ora Sledge Chester.
From its humble begin- nings on 22nd Street, near 21st Ave., the sanctuary was moved a few blocks away, to 34th St. and 21st Ave.

The Jackson Heights Neighborhood Association and Crime Watch meeting is set for Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 6:30 p. m. until 7:30 p. m., at the Open Cafe’, located at 3222 N. 34th Street, Tampa, FL 33605. The guest speaker will be Mr. Cedric McCray, Manager of the East Tampa Community Revitalization Partnership. Fran Tate, President.
