NFL Wild-Card Game Starts Saturday During MLK Weekend; 4 Black QBs In Playoffs
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers overcame a slow start Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, finishing in a fury on their way to a 41-17 blowout win in front of their home crowd to finish the 2021 regular season.
After the Bucs locked up their own victory, they got a little help in the NFC playoff race from the San Francisco 49ers, who beat the Los Ange- les Rams in overtime to vault Tampa Bay into the No. 2 seed.
Bucs quarterback Tom Brady struggled early, but finished strong with 326
yards, three touchdown passes and no interceptions. Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski both delivered record-breaking perform- ances, combining for 226 yards on 13 receptions, with Evans hauling in a pair of touchdowns.
Evans broke his own franchise record for touch- down receptions in a single season with 14, while Gronkowski broke the all- time NFL record for 100-yard receiving games by a tight end with 32, eclipsing a mark pre- viously held by Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez.
These two division rivals will be meeting for the third time this season. The Patriots and Bills split their season-series with the home team losing each time.

(7) Eagles at (2) Buc- caneers: 1 p.m. ET (Fox). The Eagles will get another crack at a Buccaneers team that beat them 28-22 back in Week 6. After that loss, the Eagles went 7-4 over their final 11 games to earn a play- off berth.
(6) 49ers at (3) Cow- boys: 4:30 p.m. ET (CBS and Nickelodeon). This will be a rematch of one of the most storied rivalries in NFL play-

The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers will host the Philadel- phia Eagles in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
The announcement was made during Sunday night’s regular-season finale be- tween the Los Angeles Charg- ers and Las Vegas Raiders.
Tampa Bay scored the No. 2 seed in the NFC after a 41- 17 win over the Carolina Pan- thers on Sunday, and thanks
to an overtime win by the San Francisco 49ers over the Los Angeles Rams.
The Bucs beat the Eagles 28-22 in Philadelphia back in October. The Eagles (9-8) have established themselves as the league’s best rushing team with 100-plus rushing yards in 12 straight games. They benefited from a soft back-end schedule, winning seven of their last 10 games.
Bucs 24-17.
The targets in
one of Brown’s posts are quarterback Tom Brady and his trainer, Alex Guerrero. Brown shared screenshots of a text conversation with Guer- rero claiming that the trainer owed Brown money because they weren’t working together anymore.
After Guerrero asked Brown for details as to where to send the balance he owed in return, Brown sent his bank information, which Brown also included in the screenshot he tweeted out.
Antonio Brown contin- ued to tell his side of what hap- pened during Sunday’s game, via social media and screenshots.
