Showtime Boxing returns to PPV with an 6 round event you won't want to miss or to boxing diehards, a total dis- grace. Undefeated and retired five-division champion Floyd Mayweather is back in an exhibition match against social media influ- encer Logan Paul on Sun- day, June 6, from Miami Gardens, Florida for $49.99 on PPV. Mayweather last fought professionally against UFC star Conor McGregor in 2017, but has taken a cou- ple of exhibition matches in his retired time.
Paul has only fought once as a professional, losing a de- cision to fellow YouTuber KSI. Paul is 6-foot-2 and last fought as a at the 200-pound cruiserweight limit. Com- pared to Mayweather at 5- foot-8 and roughly 150 pounds, Paul is the much bigger man. He is also 18 years younger than May- weather. Why May- weather fighting an amatuer is perceived as a quick money grab.
Mayweather, however, is 50-0 as a professional boxer, one of the most ac- complished fighters to ever

Atlanta Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna was report- edly arrested on Saturday (May 29) after an alleged do- mestic violence incident in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
According to CBS News, Ozuna was charged with ag- gravated assault by strangula- tion and battery. Sandy Springs Police Department said they received a 911 about an in-progress assault at around 12:30 p.m. and claimed the door to the resi- dence was open when officers arrived.
After entering, SSPD says they witnessed Ozuna al- legedly “grabbing the victim by the neck and throwing her against the wall.” The victim

lace on a pair of gloves. Prior to turning pro, Mayweather was an accomplished ama- teur who took bronze at the 1996 Olympics after a contro- versial decision loss. As an amateur, Paul was 0-1, hav- ing lost to KSI in a white-col- lar boxing match before the loss in an official pro bout.
Another interesting figure is making his boxing debut on the card as former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson will fight Brian Maxwell, a mixed martial arts and bare knuckle fighting veteran. But a bit of an issue popped up just a week before the event when the co-main event fell apart. Jean Pascal, who was slated to rematch Badou
Jack at light heavyweight, tested positive for three dif- ferent steroids in his pre-fight screening and was forced out of action. Jack still intends to fight on the card, but is await- ing a new opponent.
Below is the full fight card along with all the info you'll need to watch the action on Showtime PPV.

Brooklyn Nets’ IRVING Kyrie Irving.
As Irving walked off the court following Brooklyn’s vic- tory over the Celtics, he was nearly hit by a bottle thrown from the stands. Irving and Nets guard Tyler Johnson turned toward the stands and pointed. Police surrounded a man in a Kevin Garnett jer- sey in the stands before leading him out in handcuffs.
Boston police said the man has been identified as Cole Buckley, 21. He is charged with one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Four-time Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka said in a social media post Thurs- day she is prioritizing her mental health and will forgo what she considers to be damaging media events dur- ing the French Open.
The Japanese world No. 2 said the nature of news con- ferences puts an undue bur- den on players’ mental health, and she hopes the fines she will be forced to pay go to charitable organizations that benefit mental health.
“I’m writing this to say I’m not going to do any press during Roland-Garros,” the 23-year-old posted on Twit- ter.
“I’ve often felt that people have no regard for athletes’ mental health and this rings true whenever I see a press conference or partake in one,” she said.
Osaka said she is “not going to subject myself to people that doubt me” and compared the media’s ques- tioning of athletes after a loss to “kicking a person while they’re down.”
Osaka said her decision is “nothing personal to the tournament,” but it is her way of sending a message to the organizations that “con- tinue to ignore the mental health of the athletes that are the centerpiece” of the sport.
