Fashion Show Highlights Black Heritage Festival
On Saturday, January 24th at the Holiday Inn Westshore, as part of the Black Heritage Festival celebrations, a first annual fashion extravaganza prevue was held with the theme, “Sparkle After Dark.” Several local designers were able to show their creations. Among those who actively participate with the Black Heritage committee are: Eric Green, Pamela Lapaugh, Freddie Moore, Ruby Jackson, William Sanders, Kathy Duffin, Dr. Samuel Wright and Mike Washington.
One of the fashions on display was this hat —- similar to the “Cat In The Hat.”
Representing “4 The Diva N U” were: Karen Taylor and Laurine Baptistery.

Some of those who walked the runway were: Jamara Forbes, Briel Wilson, RaeMarie Walker, Brittany Jordan, Designer Antonella Lavoile, Jasara Wajd, and Shayla Reaves of FOX 13.
