   Suspect Arrested For Murder Of East Tampa Auto Detail Owner
      David ‘Dave’ George outside his East Tampa business, Unique Auto Detailing.
 Shortly before noon last week, an East Tampa busi- nessman was fatally wounded outside his busi- ness. On Friday afternoon, police arrested a suspect and charged him with first-de- gree murder.
Around 11:30 a. m. last Wednesday, the suspect rode up on his bicycle and fatally shot David “Dave” George, 47, owner of Unique Auto Detailing, 2630 E. Lake Avenue, before fleeing the scene.
Tampa Police located the bicycle a short time later.
George was transported to Tampa General Hospital, but died as a result of his in- juries.

He was arrested without incident and charged with first-degree murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Detectives said the two men knew each other. How- ever, they have not released a motive for the murder.

 Tampa Police officers and detectives investigate the deadly afternoon shooting of the owner of Unique Auto Detailing in East Tampa last Wednesday.
The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay will host a com- munity event on Friday, April 13th. The event is enti- tled, “The Untreated Trauma of Sexual As- sault: A Community Re- sponse.”
It will be held at the Robert W. Saunders Public Library, 1505 N. Nebraska Avenue, in the Ada T. Payne Community Room. It will take place from 1:30 p.m.
until 4:30 p.m.
The discussion will focus
on developing a victim cen- tered, trauma informed, community response to sex- ual assault to include law en- forcement, universities, colleges, rape crisis centers, and other social service agencies.
Dr. Dae Sheridan, will be the featured speaker. Others on program include: Juli Alvarado, President and Sr. Clinical Consultant for Alvarado Consulting and Treatment Group; Rena Romano, Survivor and Ad- vocate for Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse and Adult Sex- ual Assault; and Michelle Doherty, Chief of the Sex Offender Division, Child Abuse Division of the State Attorney’s Office, 13th Judi- cial Circuit, Hillsborough County.
