Residents Urged To Shop On ‘Small Business Saturday’
Hillsborough County resi- dents are encouraged to sup- port local businesses on Saturday, November 28th. The County’s Entrepreneur Collab- orative Center is helping small businesses to maximize sales on this year’s Small Business Saturday.
A series of three panel dis- cussions in November were fo- cused on sharing strategies for Hillsborough businesses to maximize sales during the most critical part of the retail year. Panelists talked about why “Small Business Satur- day” is important to them and what their plans are this sea- son.
The panel discussions are packed with important infor- mation and ideas for small business owners.
For those who could not participate live, Hillsborough County is making them avail- able for viewing: * Retail In- dustry Panel; * Business to Business Panel’ and * Food In- dustry Panel.
For its comprehensive ef- forts to support local small businesses, Hillsborough County has been named a Neighborhood Champion for the fifth straight year by Amer- ican Express, the company that sponsors and promotes “Small Business Saturday.”
Mother Of Seven Children Continues To
Accomplish Dreams
MRS. SYLVIA JOHNSON
I want to give the glory and thanks to God for blessing my beloved niece with the vision to continue her dream of be- coming a Licensed Sterile Processor. After many years of struggle, hardship and the birth of her first five children, she earned her CNA Certification in 1988.
After the birth of two more children, she earned her GED in 2012. Next, she earned her Medical Assistant Certification in 2013, while facing many life challenges and parenting seven children while working and going to school.
She finally accomplished her dream of becoming a Li- censed Sterile Processor, November 4, 2020. She and I would like to take this time to thank everyone who helped make her dream become a reality.
Best wishes, Sylvia, with your future career. Love, Aunt Linda.
