HARMON
RETIRED SFC STANLEY ERIC PETTERMON
Homegoing services for Retired SFC Stanley Eric Pettermon, Sr., who passed away Sunday, No- vember 15, 2020, at his resi- dence, 8606 Vistula Dr., Ft. Washington, MD, will be held Saturday, November 28, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610. Interment will be made in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
SFC Stanley Eric Pettermon, who was born August 5, 1961, in Tampa, Florida, was the sixth of nine sons of the late Ransome Lee Pettermon, Sr., and Willie Ruth Pettermon.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Ransome (RL) Petter- mon; paternal grandmother, Agaree John-Young; maternal grandmother, Gladys Palmer; brothers, Tommie Lee Peter- mon, and Randall Greg Peter- man.
He was educated in the pub- lic schools of Hillsborough County before embarking on a 23-year, 9-month career in the United States Army, where he proudly served his country in the Persian Gulf War (also known as Operation Desert Storm). Ser- geant First Class Pettermon, a Non-Commissioned Officer, also worked as a security specialist at the Pentagon, where he survived the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001.
He received numerous deco- rations, medals, badges, cita- tions and ribbons including, but not limited to: The Bronze Star, Meritorious Service, Superior Unit and Saudi Arabian-Kuwait Liberation Medal just to name a few.
He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Willie Ruth Pettermon; his children, Latasha Pettermon, Stanley Pettermon, Jr., Maurice Pettermon (Eloisa) and their mother, Wanda Samp- son; his brothers, Raymond Pe- terman, Gerald Pettermon, Ransome Peterman, Jr.; Howard Pettermon; Ronald Pettermon (Tina); Willie J. Pettermon and Eric Kendrick (Shaconya); sis- ters, Yolanda Colston (Jener- ald), Yvette Harden, Shirley Gail Pettermon, and Desiree Peter- man; four grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews.
Visitation for NCO SFC Stan- ley E. Pettermon, Sr., is Friday evening, November 27th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Harmon Fu- neral Home.

Mr. Robert Louis Allen was a native of Sparks, Georgia, and a resident of Tampa for 70 years. He was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School and retired from GrayBar Electric as a Ware- house Manager.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Robert Allen and Lily Wright Allen; and wife, Georgia M. Allen.

Mr. Ernest K. Fisher, of Tampa, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020. The funeral services for Mr. Fisher will be Pri- vate.
Mr. Ernest K. Fisher was a na- tive and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida, born to Mr. Ernest K. Fisher, Sr., and Mrs. Gwendolyn L. Conner Fisher. He was edu- cated in the public schools of Hills- borough County and worked as a Laborer in the Moving Industry.

Ms. Eutilda Murray was a native of St. James, Jamaica, and a resident of St. Peters- burg for 10 years.
She was educated in the public schools of St. James, Ja- maica and was a graduate of St. James High School.
Ms. Murray loved her fam- ily and friends dearly. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need and she served with her big loving heart. She was loved by many and she will be missed to infin- ity and beyond by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Dorett Hall and Dudley Murray.

Battle, who passed away on November 18, 2020, will be held Sunda, No- vember 29, 2020, at 11 a.m., at Progress Village Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 7909 Flower Avenue (Progress Village) Tampa, Florida, 33619 with Pas- tor Byron Wells, Officiating. A private Interment will be held.
Wallace R. Battle was born to Willie Lofton and Clifford Mae P. Battle in Clay County, Georgia.
He was a salesman to the core. He worked many years as a Colporteur (Literature Evangel- ist) and an insurance agent.
Affectionately known as “Rev” to his clients, he was the insurance man to many people in the Tampa area for over 30 years.
Elder Battle was a friend to many. He never met a stranger and would help anyone who had a need.
He served faithfully in the church for 57 years until failing health prevented him from working. He was a member of the Mt. Calvary SDA Church until 1988 and then the Progress Vil- lage SDA Church until his death.
Over the years, he served as a Head Elder, Interim Pastor, Dea- con, Community Service worker, Personal Ministry Leader, Fi- nance Committee member, Building Committee member, Evangelism team member, AY Sponsor, and Investment Leader to name a few.
Elder Battle was preceded in death by: his parents, Willie and Clifford Battle; his sisters, Inez McGee and Clara Roberts; and his brothers, James Battle and Charlie Battle.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Mary Alice Bat- tle; daughters, Zaneta Castillo and Angela (David) O’Neal; grandchildren, Jordan Castillo and Daniel Van Buren; sister, Ada (Joe) Bryant; former son-in- law, Jeffrey Castillo; close spe- cial friends, Pastor Larry Johnson, Elder Clarence Norton, Elder Kenneth Cook, Elder Ricky Martin, and Elder Fred & Geral- dine Pullins; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church mem- bers and friends.
Visitation for Elder Battle will be held Saturday evening November 28, 2020 after Sab- bath Sunset from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m., at Harmon Funeral Home 5002 North 40th Street Tampa, Florida 33610.
The Family will assemble at 10:45 a.m. at the Church.
