Linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul is going back to Tampa Bay on a two-year, $27 million deal.
The Buccaneers an- nounced on Monday that Pierre-Paul was re-signed to a multiyear deal, but the team didn't reveal the terms.

Safety Devin McCourty announced Sunday on his YouTube channel that he’s re- signing with the Patriots.
Cornerback Jason Mc- Courty also announced he had his 2020 option picked up by the Patriots.

Cowboys, Gerald McCoy Agree To Terms On 3-Year Deal
Amari Cooper Getting $100 Million Deal From Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are keeping the band together.
Amari Cooper is getting a 5-year, $100 million con- tract from the Cowboys to re- main with them, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
The deal reportedly in- cludes $60 million guaran- teed. Schefter says the Cowboys had to beat out com- petition from the Washington Redskins to retain Cooper.

Many wondered what the heck the Houston Texans were thinking when they traded away DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona on Monday. And while it’s still quite appropriate to ask why they traded Hopkins, at
least we know they had some other plans in mind.
The Texans have agreed to terms on a 3-year, $27 mil- lion deal with Randall Cobb. The deal calls for Cobb to be paid $18.75 mil- lion guaranteed.

The Cowboys agreed to terms with veteran defensive lineman Gerald McCoy on a three-year deal, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. ESPN first re- ported the news.
A free agent after playing out his one-year deal McCoy, 32, played and started all 16 games for the Carolina Panthers in his one season with the franchise in 2019. The D-lineman picked

up five sacks last season, his lowest total since 2012. On his career, McCoy has 59.5 sacks.

On the same day the Car- olina Panthers gave Cam Newton permission to seek a trade that he says he didn't ask for, the team agreed to give free-agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater a three-year, $63 million deal.

The contract is expected to be done by the time the new league year begins Wednes- day, the source said.
That news came hours after Newton responded to the team's post on Instagram saying that he could seek a trade.
"Stop with the word play. I never asked for it," he com- mented. "There is no dodging this one. I love the Panthers to death and will always love you guys. Please do not try and play me or manipulate the narrative and act like I wanted this. You forced me into this. Love."
