Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints on Sun- day night in the NFC Divi- sional Round, 30-20. Drew Brees Passes Torch To Jameis Winston During Playoff Loss
DREW BREES AND JAMEIS WINSTON
It was an emotional night for Drew Brees and the rest of the New Orleans Saints as they were ultimately eliminated by Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their Divi- sional Round game on Sunday. Before the final whistle blew, Brees shared a moment with back-up QB Jameis Winston as the game clock was expiring. It felt like a passing of the torch moment for the 27-year-old as many speculate it to be the end of the line for Brees.
The 42-year-old QB didn’t have it going on Sunday as he struggled all-evening long against the feisty Bucs defense. Brees had one of his worst games this season with a sea- son-low of three INTs and a 38.1 passer rating. Two of his interceptions were converted to touchdowns by the Bucs which ultimately help Tampa Bay book a trip to the NFC Champi- onship.
Winston, who’s playing his first season in New Orleans, showed potential as Brees’ back-up this season. The for- mer Tampa Bay QB came up huge on Sunday with his first- ever playoff touchdown after he connected with Tre’Quan Smith on a 56-yard TD in the second period to momentarily put the Saints on top.

their third conference title game since the 1970 merger. About 6,500 ticketed fans will be allowed inside for the game, which is scheduled to kick off at 2:05 p.m. CT Sun- day on Fox.
Devin White, Defense Return With Vengeance Vs. Saints
After his two-week absence on the NFL’s Reserve/COVID- 19 list, Bucs linebacker Devin White made up for lost time with an incredible perform- ance in Sunday night’s win over the Saints in the NFC di- visional playoff game.
White led with 11 tackles, scooped up a key fumble forced by rookie teammate Antoine Winfield, Jr. in the third quarter, and helped seal the win with a fourth-quarter in- terception off Drew Brees.
Bucs DC Todd Bowles To Interview For Eagles Head Coach Job
Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles will interview with the Philadelphia Eagles for their vacant head coach posi- tion.
Bowles has already inter- viewed for the same position with the Atlanta Falcons, but cancelled a head coach inter- view with the Detroit Lions last week.
