“This year, like all the others, is a very special event for Tampa Bay Muslim Al- liance. Several distinguished guests are invited. There is going to be a forum with Clerics from different faiths and from different congrega- tions attending and present- ing their views of ‘Giving and Sharing’ from the per- spective of their respective faith,” states Dr. Husain Nagamia, Chairman of the Tampa Bay Muslim Alliance.
Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn will be the chief guest, he added. Mayor Buckhorn will be issuing a message for the Alliance
inviting the community to join them on Sunday.
“We plan to feed upwards of 1,500 to 2,000 homeless with a GRAND BBQ, and we will be distributing free clothes, new shoes, toys, new bicycles and provide medical tests to detect Diabetes and Hypertension. Every one, ir- respective of their faith, be- lief or color, is cordially invited to attend and partici- pate in the festivities, Dr. Nagamia continued.
There will be multiple ac- tivities for the children, in- cluding bouncing houses, slides, clown shows, and face painting, to name a few. There is going to be music and singing to lend a festive air to the event.
