As a young girl, Kristina Lavallee knew her future would revolve around baking. Through the years, she perfected her craft and specializes in desserts. A na- tive of Puerto Rico, she now of- fers the delicacies to the Tampa Bay Area.
Her bakery, appropriately named, “The Cake Girl,” is lo- cated at 13713 N. Dale Mabry Highway. Kristina and her husband, Kirby, operate the bakery, which was recently named The Sweetest Bakery in America Florida winner.
The bakery specializes in made from scratch mini cup- cakes (16 flavors daily), award winning carrot cake, 8 flavors daily of gourmet ice cream and custom cakes for all occasions. They even offer vegan and gluten free options.
In addition to operating the business, the Lavallees are very active in the community and be- lieve the only way to be success- ful is to serve others and give back. From attending commu- nity events to participating in

City Of Tampa Hosts Homeowner’s Night On February 18th
The City of Tampa De- partment of Planning & De- velopment is excited to announce a new program de- signed to help homeowners successfully take on their res- idential construction proj- ects.
The Homeowner’s Night Program will be on Tuesday, February 18, from 5 p. m. to 7 p. m., and it will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month (excluding holidays).
City of Tampa staff will be on hand to assist residents who need assistance.
On Homeowners Night, the Development Services Center is open from 5 to 7 p. m., where homeowners can visit staff from Construction Services; Planning, Urban Design and Land Coordina- tion; Historic Preservation and Natural Resources to dis- cuss or start permitting their residential project.
Homeowners will be able to learn everything they need to complete their residential project. If they are ready to file a permit, staff will be available to help them. No appointment needed.

The Middleton High School Class of 1960 will have Class Meet- ing on Saturday, at 3 P. M. on Saturday, February 15, 2020. The meeting will be held at Bridget’s Kitchen, 3501 N. 26th St., Tampa, FL.
The agenda will consist of completing the itinerary of the class activities. Team Leaders’ reports and feedback/payment plan/ sta- tus report on the DC trip to the African American Museum in Washington, D. C.
