  Jackson State University President Resigns After Being Implicated In Prostitution Ring Scandal
 Former Jackson State University President William Bynum, Jr. has resigned after being charged for his involvement in a prostitution ring.
Bynum, Jr. resigned as president via press release on Monday after being among 17 people busted in a prostitution sting in Missis- sippi over the weekend, re-
ports the Jackson Free Press.
The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning said it will meet in the near future to discuss
  Bynum’s replacement, re- ports USA Today. Shortly after news broke of his ar- rest, the board announced Bynum's resignation and an emergency board meet- ing to address the situation.
The board released an announcement naming Jackson State's chief diver- sity officer Thomas Hud- son as the acting president.

    Employers Can Now Deny Job Offers To Those With Dreadlocks, Courts Ruled
 Refusing to hire someone because of their dreadlocks is legal, NBC reported.
     The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled a law- suit in favor of Catastrophe Management Solutions against the Equal Employ- ment Opportunity Commis- sion (EEOC), allowing the company to refuse employ- ment to people with dread- locks.
The EEOC filed the law- suit on behalf of Chastity Jones, a Black woman from Alabama who lost a job offer because she refused to cut her dreadlocks.
The lawsuit has been on- going since April of 2018, Vox reported.
