Like many moms her age, riding high in Corporate Amer- ica, making six figures and seemingly doing well, this mom also found herself in need of public resources.
In 2008, the country fell into recession – much like it has with COVID-19. But now it’s not only the country, but the world.
Back then as a Corporate America employee, Deloria Stewart Nelson Streete, had to make an adjustment. She was the single mom of three and the 6 figures she was used to were no longer there.
Back in 2010, she started putting down some notes to explain how she made it through those tough times. But as time passed, the manuscript was put on the shelf.
Since the pandemic hit and more time was spent at home, she pulled the manu- script down and completed it. “I believe in Divine order, and the time for the book is now,” she said.
