WILSON
MR. MELVIN WATT SANDERSON
A private service will be held for Mr. Melvin Watt Sanderson, who passed on June 23, 2020.
Mr. Melvin Watt Sanderson, was born on October 20, 1946 in Tampa, Florida to the parentage of Pearl Sanderson and Goldie Sanderson. Melvin grew up in the Ybor City area. He gradu- ated from Middleton High School, Class of 1964 in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Sanderson also at- tended HCC where he received an Associate Degree. Melvin proudly served in the United States Army and he received an honorable discharge in 1969.
He ministered and preached to our local inmates, various nursing homes and churches.
Mr. Sanderson was a Cor- rectional Officer and was a Re- tired Security Guard.
Mr. Sanderson was loved for his work with our God, a true Christian that dedicated his en- tire life to winning souls for Christ. We as his family have comfort knowing he’s in his other home with our Lord and Savior, where he will rejoice in God’s house and God saying, “Well Done My Faithful Ser- vant.”
He was preceded in death by: his father, Pearl Sanderson; mother, Goldie Sanderson; sis- ter, Sylvia Sanderson Dupree; brothers, Lawrence Sanderson, Sr., Robert Sanderson, Sr., Louis McCloud, James Mc- Cloud, Jr. and Bernard Mc- Cloud.
Melvin is survived by: 5 sis- ters, Cassandra Vasquez, Betty Phillips (Dudley), Jeanette Davis of Lakeland, Florida, Lori Bethel and Joyce Blocker; 7 brothers, Frank McCloud (Wanda), Bishop Kirk E. Mc- Cloud (Lettina) of Spring, TX, Andrew McCloud, Ray- mond McCloud (Juanita), Rudolph McCloud (Can- dice), Henry McCloud (Don- nette) and Alan McCloud; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Wil- son Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, from 3 – 8 p. m. Due to the current CDC restrictions; we are asking that you use the visitation as an op- portunity to pay your final re- spects. For your convenience and safety, we have extended our visitation hours.

MR. HERBERT COLEMAN JACOBS
Mr. Herbert Coleman Jacobs was born January 3, 1953 to the late Jonas Jacobs and the late Crozella Mobley Jacobs. He at- tended Marion County Public Schools and loved playing piano. He often credited his mother, Crozella, for going above and be- yond to ensure he was able to take piano lessons. He accepted Christ at an early age under the late Pastor J. C. Bell at New Jerusalem M. B. Church.
His musical background in- cluded the following: Introduc- tory Lessons from Alexander Hartley Studio of Music with Professor Alexander Hartley, and early years at New Jerusalem M. B. Church and Shady Grove M. B. Church, with the O. M. Hawkins Choir. He was also the musician for vari- ous other churches in the Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa Bay area.
Additionally, he was the mu- sician for the University of South Florida Afro-American Gospel Choir, Minister of Music for the Tampa Mass Choir of the Gospel Music Workshop of America and Florida Mass Choir, with whom he recorded a dozen Gospel albums.
He leaves to mourn his pass- ing, two brothers, Jonas C. Ja- cobs of Ocala, FL, Pastor Stanley M. Jacobs (Virginia) of Ocala, FL; and one sister, Maxine C. Ja- cobs of Tampa, FL; aunt, Molly Smith (Leon) of Ocala, FL; nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. He was “Uncle” Herb to many sons and daughters of dear friends with whom he crossed paths over the years.
There will be a graveside service for Herbert Jacobs on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 10 a. m. at New Jerusalem Cemetery, 9010 SW 34th Place, Ocala, FL 34480.

         MRS. BEATRICE HORTENSE SINGLETON
Mrs. Beatrice Hortense Sin- gleton, 93, of Tampa, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Friday, July 3rd, at 11 a. m. at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 2002 N. Rome Av- enue with Reverend Dr. C. T. Kirk- land, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Please follow the CDC guidelines.
Mrs. Beatrice Hortense Sin- gleton, affectionately known as “Mrs. Bea,” was a native and life- long resident of Tampa, Florida. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and a graduate of Brewster Adult High School. Mrs. Singleton was a member of Mt. Pleasant M. B. Church, where she served on the Usher Board and was a member of the Choir. She was a devout Chris- tian, loving and proud home- maker for her family.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Walter and Dorothy Young; husband of 59 years, Samuel James Singleton; son, Robert Lee Singleton “Chip;” and three siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving children, Pauline Singleton Black, Samuel V. Singleton, Jr. (Andra), Dr. Dorothy M. Singleton, and Jewel Singleton; grandsons, Philip Carey, James Hardy, Jr., Rante Singleton, Dante Singleton, Diet- rick Singleton, Robert Singleton and Christopher Singleton; grand- daughters, Treniece Singleton, Anndrea Carey-Baskett and Jes- sica Singleton; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose from 3 to 7 p. m., Thursday, July 2nd, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. We are ask- ing family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines.

MR. LARONALD LYNN WIMBUSH
Mr. LaRonald Lynn Wim- bush of Tampa, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020.
A Graveside Service will be conducted Friday, July 3rd at 3 p. m. at Dade City Cemetery, 38151 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Dade City, FL 33525, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating. Inter- ment will follow. Please follow the CDC guidelines.
Mr. LaRonald Lynn Wim- bush, affectionately known as “Smurf,” was a native of Dade City, Florida, and a resident of Tampa for the majority of his life. He was family oriented and a wonderful father to his chil- dren. In his spare time he en- joyed writing music. LaRonald loved to mentor and inspire the younger generation to find themselves in the music game.
He was preceded in death by: his grandmother, Ophelia Graham; grandfather, Marion Talley and his son, Tyrese Dashun Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Martez Wimbush, LaRonda Wimbush, LaRonald Wimbush, LaWanna Wimbush, LaRon Wimbush and stepson, Marlon Bryant; his lov- ing mother, Mary Alice Wim- bush (Walter); father, John Peyton; grandmother, Estella Peyton; grandfather, Nathaniel Graham; siblings, Telisha Kelly, Tameka Wimbush, Katrina Wimbush, Walter Wimbush, Terrell Wimbush, Shionquesa Coleman, Heather Brooks, Mar- quis Bryant, Joneay Peyton and John Peyton, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and de- voted friends.

MS. DIANE STAFFORD (YOUNGBLOOD)
Ms. Diane Stafford (Young- blood), born on November 11, 1954, was a former resident of Tampa, passed away on June 25, 2020.
Ms. Stafford has resided in South Florida for the last 4-1/2 decades. A loving mother, daughter, sister, and grand- mother, will be truly missed by her family.
