 2021 DBE Federal Highway and Transit: Explanation of Goals & Methodology
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking comments/questions on its proposed three-year Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA). To ensure maximum participation and for public convenience, FDOT has several methods for reviewing and commenting on the documents:
- Visit www.fdot.gov/equalopportunity and click on the link to one or both documents, then use the email link to provide comments. Your comments may then
be emailed to 2021DBE Goal@dot.state.fl.us or mailed to FDOT, ATTN.: 2021 DBE Goal Setting,
605 Suwannee Street, MS 65, Tallahassee, FL 32399.
- Attend one of three virtual public meetings on the goal setting methodology:
* July 20, 2020, 6:00 P.M. * July 21, 2020, 6:00 P.M. * July 22, 2020, 6:00 P.M.
- You can attend any of the above listed virtual meetings via webinar at www.fdot.gov/equalopportunity, or simply listen to the recorded webinar after July 24th.
- Check out FDOT’s FaceBook page at www.facebook.com/FLDOT for updates and special information.
To ensure that FDOT has adequate time to respond to or make changes to the methodology, questions/comments on either or both DBE methodologies must be received before it is submitted for approval on August 1, 2020.
