Control A Warning To Politicians
Trump signed the $1.3 tril- lion spending bill hours after tweeting he was considering a veto.
“I will never sign another bill like this again, Trump said, scowling at the 2,000-plus page document. “Nobody has read it.”
“No one has been able to read it. You tell me who can read that quickly?!” Trump growled. “It takes time to read it.”
Trump complained that the legislation does not fully fund his plans for a border wall with Mexico and does not ad- dress some 800,000 ‘‘Dreamer’’ immigrants who are now protected from deporta- tion under a program that he has moved to eliminate. He said he signed it in order to provide needed money for the military.
It was powerful, it was mov- ing, but most importantly, it was the resounding actions of the young, who have taken charge to turn their tragedy into activism. Hundreds of thousands of pro- testers filled the streets of Wash- ington, D. C., and thousands more around the globe for the March for Our Lives, calling for action on gun control and school safety reform on Satur- day.
Immediately after the carnage that left 17 of their classmates murdered by a gunman at Mar- jory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14th, stu- dents everywhere have followed the lead of survivors in Park- land, Florida.
Using social media, students around the country have walked out of their classrooms to protest gun violence, lobbied lawmakers to pass gun reform legislation, and helped plan Saturday’s mass demonstration.
Students and adults gathered in Washington, D. C., and ap- proximately 800 other demon- strations took place nationwide. Protesters in Washington, Tampa, New York City, Sacra- mento, Los Angeles and Boston lined up.

The demonstration was inclu- sive, with young people from Chicago and Washington, D. C., speaking about how they have been impacted by gun violence.
One of the most powerful speeches according to reports, was 11-year-old Naomi Wadler, who told the crowd: “I am here today to acknowledge and represent the African-Amer- ican girls whose stories don’t make the front page of every na- tional newspaper.”
"We're going to make sure the best people get in our elections to run not as politicians, but as Americans. Because this -- this - - is not cutting it,” (the leader of the movement), David Hogg says, pointing to U. S. Capitol.
The March for Our Lives was billed as a rally for young people, but the turnout in the nation’s capital was a cross-section of the

#DeleteFacebook Campaign: Set Against Social Media Giant For Helping 2016 Election
It's been a terrible week for Facebook, with policymakers and users alike demanding an- swers from the social network over its Cambridge Analytica fi- asco, in which the data analysis firm improperly accessed the personal information of about 50 million Facebook users.
Facebook has seen more than $60 billion wiped off of its valuation over fears that the revelations will result in regu- lations on the digital advertis- ing industry, dragging down the stock prices of other tech giants as well. Founder and
CEO Mark Zuckerberg de- livered an anodyne non-apol- ogy, saying many things have already been fixed and more changes are on the way, amid repeated calls for him to testify before Congress. The hashtag #deletefacebook has trended on Twitter.

The White House released a statement supporting the stu-
dent protesters. “We applaud the many courageous young Americans exercising their First Amendment rights today.
However, President Trump, who was golfing here in Florida, tweeted about the attack in France, but not about the demonstration on the door step of the White House.

for McDougal’s alleged affair with the then reality-TV star, saying she wouldn’t want that to happen to her; she insisted Trump was in love with her, but also said he tried to pay her for their first sexual encounter, which she said hurt her a lot.
