Early Voting
Early Voting Begins For Presidential Preference Primary Election

Craig Lattimer, Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections re- cently announced the dates for the upcoming Presidential Preference Primary Election. The election will take place on Tuesday, March 15th.
Ms. Gerri Kramer, spokesper- son for the Hillsborough County Su- pervisor of Elections Office said, “This Primary Election will only con- tain the names of Presidential Candi- dates. The names of some candidates who have withdrawn may still appear on the ballots, but we cannot remove those names.”
During this election, voters must be registered as a Democrat or as a Republican to participate. Florida has closed primaries, which means that you must be registered with a political party in order to vote in that party's Primary Election.
Individuals can cast ballots by using one of three methods: Vote By Mail, Early Voting; or Voting on Elec- tion Day.
To make sure that information is correct before going to the polls, vot- ers can visit the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office and check on their registration status. Visit the website at VoteHillsborugh.org or call (813) 744-5900.
The second option is to vote dur- ing the Early Voting Period, which be- gins Monday, February 29th, and will end on Sunday, March 13th. You can vote at any of the locations during
Early Voting.
The third option is to cast ballots
on Tuesday, March 13th, at your des- ignated precinct.
The ballots for this election will only contain the names of Presiden- tial Candidates listed as Democrats or Republicans.
The Democratic candidates, as they appear on the sample ballot, are: Hillary Clinton, Martin O’Mal- ley; and Bernie Sanders.
The Republican candidates, as they appear on the sample ballot, are: Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Carly Fior- ina, Jim Gilmore, Lindsey Gra- ham, Mike Huckabee, John Kasich, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, and Don-
ald Trump.
Early Voting Locations
Individuals who would like to cast ballots early may do so at any of the 15 Early Voting Sites established by the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office.
Registered voters can cast ballots at any of the locations during early voting period that will begin on Mon- day, February 29th, and end on Sun- day, March 13th. Early Voting will take place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., at any of the following locations:

one or two forms of identification. Ac- ceptable identification includes: a Florida Driver's License; Florida ID Card issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; U. S. Passport; Debit or Credit Card; Military ID; Student ID; Retirement Center ID; Neighborhood Association ID; or Public Assistance ID.
