MR. BASIL POWELL
A memorial service for Mr. Basil Powell of Tampa, who passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016, will be held Saturday, February 27 at 11 a. m. at Northside Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 5706 N. 40th Street, Rev. Ricardo Robinson, pastor, officiating. The interment will follow.
Basil was a member of Northside Missionary Bap- tist Church.
Basil had over 25 years of experience on the interna- tional stage, as well as, in the studio;
Basil Powell’s skills on the electric guitar and bass were without limitations. He drew from legends such as BB King and Jeff Beck to Eric Clapton and Wes Mont- gomery. Basil created a style and a voice that was all of his own.
He had performed with Johnnie Taylor, the O’Jays, Mercer Ellington, The Gap Band and The Platters.
He leaves to cherish his memories with: his wife of 17 years, Geraldine Holloway- Powell; son, Steven Anthony Powell; stepdaughter, Amoya Oyeguhle; grandchildren, Jaron Powell, Essence Pow- ell, Antonio Ruiz, Rico Ruiz, LaDale Wilford, Jamarai Moore and Katurah Miles; great grandson, Kai Wilford and Zion; parents, Basil Pow- ell, Sr. and Azzie Powell; brother, Keith Powell and wife; sisters, Lisa Cherry (Willie), Sharlene Powell and Darlene Campbell; mother- in-law, Mattie Hill; 2 sisters- in-law, Christine Jackson and Ernestine Mention; brother-in-law, Chief An- thony Holloway; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and friends, John (Dash) Dixon, Ron Carmichael, Noritna Jeffrey, Shawn Bron (Brown) and Lester Free- man.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

The homegoing service for Mr. Christopher B. Houston, Jr., who passed away Febru- ary 7, 2016, will be conducted Saturday, February 26, 2016 at 11 a. m. at Saint John’s Cathedral, 3401 E. 25th Ave., Tampa, 33605, Bishop Ron Anderson, officiating.
Mr. Christopher B. Hous- ton, Jr. was a native of Tampa, Fl was born to Ms. Katrina Watkins and Mr. Christopher Houston, Sr. on May 21, 1995.
He attended the schools of Hillsborough County and was an inspiring artist. He dedicated his life to his chil- dren and his music, He was a loving son, brother and fa- ther.
He was preceded in death by: his brother, Sergio Smith; grandfather, Robert Sherman; grandmother, Betty Stokes; and aunt, Mary Scivens.
Christopher leaves to cherish memory: his loving mother, Katrina Watkins (Artavis Dawkins); father, Christopher Houston, Sr. (April); two sons, whom he loved dearly, Christopher S. Houston and Jeremiah B. Houston; mother of his chil- dren, Ashley Maldonando; grandmother, Melody Devine (Eric); sisters, Chris- honda and Lakeitha
Houston; brothers, Cleve- land Morris, Maurice Watkins and Devontae Hous- ton; aunts, Yolanda Devine (Darerel), Trina Wright and Lucora Wright; uncles, Robert Sherman (Blanch), George Houston and John Wright (Twaina); cousins, Clarence Devine, Sr., Clarence Devine, Jr., Milton Devine, Desiree Devine, John Wright, Kayla Wright, Johntavias Wright, Johnaishia Wright and George Houston, Jr.; special friends, Rashawn Singleton, Tyree Wingfield and Rubin Jenkins; a host of family and friends; and especially Team Up Entertainment.
His music was loved by many and he left a message with everyone.

MR. LIVINGSTON M. HENDERSON
Homegoing celebration for Mr. Livingston M. Hen- derson of Kingston, Jamaica, who passed away on Satur- day, February 6, 2016, at a local healthcare facility, will be held Saturday, February 27, at Forest Hill Church, 401 West Bougainvillea Avenue, Tampa, 33612, at 1 p. m. Rev. Joseph and Jennifer Pearce, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Livingston Henderson was born on September 5, 1975, to the parents of Al- phanso and Beverly Hender- son. He was the first of three children. Livingston at- tended school in The Parish of St. Thomas, Jamaica.
He later moved to Kingston, where he worked and built a family, which pro- duced two children, Kermari and Jameilia Henderson.
In October, 2015, Liv- ingston came to the U.S.A. to visit his parents. Afterwards, he became ill and later suc- cumbed to his illness on Feb- ruary 6, 2016.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Al- phanso and Beverly Hender- son; his two children, (son) Kermari and (daughter) Jameilia Henderson; sib- lings, Lloyd Henderson and Opal Henderson; aunties and uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other sorrowing family, friends and well-wishers.
Visitation will be held at Jackson Funeral Home, 4605 34th St., Tampa, on Fri- day, February 26, from 6-8 p. m. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 12:45 p. m.

MS. JOSEPHINE ‘MARGARET’ BAGLEY BRADY
Ms. Josephine "Margaret" Bagley Brady of Tampa, passed away Saturday, Feb- ruary 20, 2016.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Febru- ary27at11a.m.atAllen Temple A. M. E. Church, 2101 Lowe Street, with Reverend Dr. David W. Green, Sr., pas- tor, officiating. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Ms. "Margaret" was a na- tive and lifelong resident of Tampa, and was educated in the public schools of Hills- borough County, graduating from Don Thompson High School.
She was a member of Allen Temple A. M. E. Church, where she served on the Usher Board No. 1, Hospital- ity Committee, Senior Adult Ministry (SAM'S), and past member of the Las Damas Civic Club.
Ms. Brady retired after 38 years from St. Joseph's Hos- pital as a Surgical Prep Tech- nician - Central Supply.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Mar- garet Jeanette Gray Bruner; her son, Hayward L. " Coach" "Bubba" Brady, Jr. (Kat- rina); 2 brothers, Badhr Ab- dullah and John "Drag" Bagley (Bobbie), both of Tampa; grandchildren, Shontanica Howard of Kan- napolis, NC, Major Lee Mon- ticello (Major Mia) Bruner, III of Washington, D. C., Hayward L. Brady, III, Maya Brinson and Brian Brady, all of Tampa; great grandchil- dren, Abriecyus N. Howard and Emmanuel D. Howard, both of Concord, NC, Elijah P.
