Summer Breeze Music Festival Weekend Hosted By The Comedian Red Bone
Dreamers of Tomorrow Foundation will kick off The Summer Breeze Music Festival Weekend starting Saturday, July 30th featuring legendary Lenny Williams, Chubb Rock, R&B Soul Singer Calvin Richardson, DJs from around the globe and hosted by come- dian Red Bone. The event will be at The Water Works Park in Tampa.
On Sunday, July 31st Laughter Without Profanity Christian Comedy Show and Praise, live DVD recording with world renowned vo- calist Shirley Murdock, Christian Come- dian Darrian Perkins, Tony Tone, former UniverSoul Circus Ring Master and Leatric Lamar at the Palladium Theatre in St. Peters- burg.
Red Bone known for his side-splitting stage show has been making audiences laugh all across the country with his quick wit and unpredictable physical comedy. Without using crude language he will have you in con- vulsions and tears. Some comics are known to attack their audience with humor, but Red Bone engages his audience and takes them on a roller coaster comedy ride they will never forget. His comical stories about his adult- hood, has garnered numerous comedy ap- pearances and places him in great demand on the corporate circuit.

Enjoy FREE Ice Cream to Help Generate $10,000 for The Salvation Army of Tampa
Denali Flavors, developers of the legendary Moose Tracks Ice Cream, is inviting members of the Tampa commu- nity to join the deli- cious philanthropy known as the 10,000 Scoops Challenge.
For seven years,
Denali has taken the
challenge on the
road, and this year,
it’s Tampa’s turn to
eat up for a cause. Ten thousand scoops of Mayfield Moose Tracks Ice Cream will be served as part of the challenge - for each scoop served, Denali Flavors will donate $1 to The Salva- tion Army of Tampa in an effort to raise $10,000 of new sup- port for its vital community programs.
Local celebrities will be donating their time scooping for charity. During the event ice cream lovers can tweet the hash tag #10KScoops and follow Moose Tracks on Twitter @Moose_Tracks.
Free scoops of ice cream will be dished out at Lykes Gaslight Park, 410 N. Franklin St. (downtown), on Friday, June 10th, 11 a. m. until 3 p. m.
‘A Marvelous Experience In The Arts’ Registration Has Begun

After several months of strategic planning for its 2nd “A Marvelous Experience in the Arts” Summer Camp, the Greater Mt. Carmel De- velopment Corp. announces its Kickoff Event, “Thank Goodness It’s Summer” Open House and Pizza Party on Fri- day, June 10, 2016. The loca- tion is Greater Mt. Carmel AME Church, 4209 N. 34th St., Tampa. The time of this event is 6 p. m. to 8 p. m.
GMC’s summer Arts Camp will offer a 7 week Music and Dance experience that will provide extended and more intense performing arts experiences, educational outreaches and enrichment through a variety of programs by reaching out to educators, local artists, families, and community partners. The goal is to establish mentoring relationships that will con- tinue beyond this Summer Camp experience.
This summer they plan to present a Cyber Safety, Kids
Code, Bricks 4 Kidz and a Fi- nancial Literacy curriculum. In addition, different Arts genres will be presented each week (Beginners voice and piano, step, percussion, Drama and several Dance styles). The student will re- ceive at least 8 hours of tech- nical training and an additional 8 hours of coach- ing for each genre. Routines for each genre will be devel- oped and presented in a sum- mer end recital performance.
Greater Mt. Carmel has for many years provided Summer Enrichment activi- ties in a mini-camp environ- ment. They have partnered with other youth serving en- tities to reach more youth and enlarge the territory for more enrichment opportunities for under privileged and at-risk youth.
This “Marvelous Experi- ence in the Arts” initiative is funded in part by the Chil- dren’s Board of Hillsborough. The Camp will begin on Mon- day, June 13th and conclude on Friday, July 29, 2016.
