Young Minister Returns To Give His Testimony
Belmont Heights Little League To Host 2016 Opening Ceremony
His Temptations
Lord, I pray that You would strengthen my hus- band to resist any tempta- tion that comes his way. Remove temptation espe- cially in the area of (name of specific temptation). Make him strong where he is weak. Help him to rise above anything that seeks to erect a strong- hold in his life. Lord, You’ve said that whoever has no rule over his own spirit is like a city broken down, without walls (Proverbs 25:28). I pray that (husband’s name) will not be broken down by the power of evil, but raised up by the power of God. Help him to take charge over his own spirit and have self-control to resist anything and any- one who becomes a temp- tation.
No temptations has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Sometimes, life can put you in a place that causes you to make decisions not popular with everyone else.
Those decisions can also drive you away from your fam- ily, but in the case of Minister Eddie Durant, II, making the right decisions has brought him back to Tampa to give his testimony.
On Sunday, March 13th at 11 a. m., Minister Durant will be at Heaven Destiny, 4110 East Ellicott, and is inviting everyone to come out and hear his story.
Minister Durant said he wants to deliver his testimony to young people and give them a message of hope and deliver- ance.
Born in Tampa, Minister Durant is the youngest son of Minister Eddie Durant, Sr. Today, the 23-year-old resides near Gainesville, Florida serv- ing in ministry at Divine Des- tiny International Ministries of Alachua, Florida.
“I think because of my age,
MINISTER EDDIE DURANT, II
I can sympathize with the trials our youth of today are con- fronted with.
“I want my testimony to be that God can keep and preserve you through the struggles, temptations and peer pres- sures our youth today face.”

On Friday, March 11th at 6 p. m., Belmont Heights Little League (BHLL) will be hosting their 2016 Opening Ceremony.
Located in the Belmont Heights community, BHLL has been a chartered league since 1968, and a member of the Urban Initiative since 2002.
In a league that produced Major League stars like Gary Sheffield, Derek Bell, Carl Everett, Dwight Gooden, and others, the league partici- pated in the 1980 and 1981 Lit- tle League World Series.
“There was a time when other leagues did not want to come to East Tampa to play baseball for fear of the inner city and their safety,” said Sonja M. Alexander, BHLL Business Manager.
“Thanks to the continued support we’ve gotten from the
ARTIS GAMBRELL, JR.
community, we’ve survived some rough times and have been able to keep the program alive.”
Approximately 330 chil- dren participate in the BHLL program, and they field 26 teams.
BHLL is in the Florida Dis- trict #13, and the league presi- dent is Artis Gambrell, Jr.
