FAMILY NOTICE
MS. SAIJAH ILIYA COLEMAN
A Celebration of Life for Ms. Saijah Iliya Coleman will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at 11 a.m., at Blount & Curry at Gar- den Of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, Minister Lance Stephens, offici- ating.
Ms. Coleman was the first born of three children to Ilee Lamar Sr. and Takoma Dechont Coleman. Saijah was born on April 12, 1995, at Jamaica Hospi- tal in Queens, New York. She was educated in the Hillsborough County Public School System; at- tended East Bay High School, graduating class of 2013.
She was employed at Learn- ing Experience Academy. Saijah transitioned from life to her eternal home on Friday, March 2, 2018.
She was preceded in death by: her maternal great grandpar- ents, Mr. and Mrs. James (Net- tie) Ward, Mr. and Mrs. Harold (Queen) Denton; paternal grand- parents Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Alice) Coleman, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Ruth) Gaymon.
Saijah leaves to cherish her memories: devoted, loving par- ents, Ilee Lamar and Takoma De- chont Coleman; sister, Nadja Lamari Coleman; brother, Ilee Lamar Coleman, Jr.; grandpar- ents Mr. and Mrs. James (Linda) Coleman, Mr. Paul Gaymon, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Desiree) Chat- ters, and Ms. Connie Beck; un- cles, Jomar Coleman, Paul Gaymon, III, Alexander Patter- son, Dwight Murdough, and Mal- colm Gaymon. Godfather, Gerald Robinson, Jr., god- mother: Mrs. Luteechia Mon- tague; aunt, Mrs. Rayna
Patterson; great aunt, Ms. Chaniqua Gaymon; and special friend, Mr. Jayson Upshaw; and host of cousins, other extended family and close friends and beloved rabbit, Bibi.
Saijah was loved by so many.
The family will receive friends for visitation between 10 a. m. and 11 a.m., Sunday, with Serv- ices at 11 a.m.

ERNEST ANTION CHRISTIAN 3/10/85 - 5/22/17
I’d love to wish my son Ernest Antion Christian, known as “little Ernest,” a Happy 33rd Birthday. We love and miss you so much. We know that you had to go home to be with your father and your grandmothers.

 MR. FERRELL ALLAN MELTON
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Ferrell Allan Melton, Sr., who passed away December 31, 2017, at the age of 83, will be held Sat- urday, March 10, at 12 noon, at East Chelsea Baptist Church, 7225 E. Chelsea (corner E. Chelsea and Orient Road). Din- ner will follow and all are wel- come.
Ms. Melton was born on De- cember 11, 1934, in Everglades City, FL.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, the former Frieda Fulghum and father, Beverly Melton. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Leon Kirk, of Orange Beach, Alabama, and his beautiful daughter, Rochelle Denise.
He is survived by: his wife, the former Nora Grieble; 2 daughters, Beverly (Tim) O’Keefe, and Mindy (Jose) Rosario; and a son, Ferrell Melton, Jr., (Skooter). He is also survived by 3 loving grandchil- dren: Timothy, Whitney, and Elisa; and his brothers, Billy and wife, Virginia, and Jackie Stew- art.
Mr. Felton owned and oper- ated Prince Grocery for over 50 years, a once known meat mar- ket that served many in the com- munity.
He was coach, manager, and President of Riverside Little League, where he won many ti- tles and championships.
He had numerous men’s league basketball teams that also won dozens of tournaments and championships. He helped many a soul and will be missed by all.
MR. ZANIA BROOKS
Mr. Zania Brooks “Crab”, 47, a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018. He was born to the union of Harold Brooks and the late Joyce Lott Williams. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and at- tended Chamberlain High School. He played baseball in his younger years for Belmont Heights Parks and Recreation.
Zania was employed at Gas- par’s Grotto in Ybor City and was the most favored cook. He was a fan of the Buccaneers.
In his later years, he married his wife, Lisa Pitts-Brooks of Tampa, Florida. To this union was born, Zaire Brooks. He raised as his own Christopher Grimes, Jor- dan Grimes and the late Dontavius Jordan “Tae-Tae,” all of Tampa, FL.
He was preceded in death by: his mother; a son raised as his own; and 2 siblings Keith John- son, Jr. and Benjamin Bradley Jr., “Fatboy” of Tampa.
He leaves to mourn: his wife; his daughter; and 2 sons raised as his own; his father, Harold; and siblings, Edward Lott, Tony (Patri- cia) Reeves, Johnny (Yolanda) Fenerson, Monique Brooks, Shal- imar Brooks, all of Tampa, Florida, Sayidd Brooks, of Geor- gia, Adam Brooks and Tasleema (Rod) McGee of Texas; nieces and nephews, Keith, Jr., Antonio, Deauvis, Demetris, Lakenna, Tyrale Sr., Darrell, Jr., Ashley, Shanna, Jonathan and Teresa; a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends; spe- cial friend, Conethia Watts- Walker, all of Tampa.
