Progress Village 55th Family Reunion Recap
The Progress Village com- munity celebrated 55 years by kicking-off with a banquet on Friday at HCC at the Re- gent. The guest speaker was State Representative, Ed Narain.
The celebration continued Saturday with Careers on Pa- rade that featured former and current residents shar- ing words of success in their chose career paths. This was followed with a BBQ, an old school jazz band, a perform- ance by the Live Connection Steppers, Sheriff’s Depart- ment Homeland Security Tactical Team, TECO, Bounce House and other fun.
The weekend concluded with fellowship at First Bap- tist Church of Progress Vil-
lage. Lots of fun was had by all in attendance.

The P. V community, as well as other, thanks our President for commuting sentences on many of our family members trapped in the system.
He also took the time to visit a federal facility in Oklahoma to see firsthand how their system operates. This visit was made from a suggestion by activist, Rufus Rochelle, who is currently in a Florida facility.
