75th AME Conference
Gospel Links Celebrate Anniversary

The 75th Session of the Annual Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is gathering in Tampa this week.
Services kicked of with a variety of activities on Satur- day with Mayor Bob Buck- horn and Tampa native, Bishop A. J. Richardson, Presiding Bishop of the 11th Episcopal District, as speak- ers. The Annual Gala was held on Sunday.
On Tuesday evening, 6:30 p. m., the Opening Worship Service will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel, 4500 W. Cypress St. Rev. Eddie Lake, Pastor of Bethel AME Church, Lakeland, will be the speaker.
Wednesday evening, Oct. 21, 2015, the Ecumenical Service was held at 11 a. m. with Bishop J. Delano Ellis, II, pastor, Pentecostal Church of Christ, Cleveland,
OH, as the messenger. Thursday, the Ordination Service was at 11:30 a.m. with Bishop John Adams (Retired Bishop). This serv- ice was held at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 N. Lowe St., Dr. David W. Green,
Pastor.
Friday’s Closing Worship
Service is at the DoubleTree Hotel with Bishop A. J. Richardson bringing the message. Service time, 7 p.m.
Longshoremen Celebrate 37th Anniversary
Mt. Tabor M.B. Church was the site for the 37th year anniversary celebration for Longshoremen.
