Thunder Fans Gave Paul George Huge Welcome
PAUL GEORGE
Thunder fans had their col- lective hearts broken when Kevin Durant left Oklahoma City for the Golden State War- riors last year. After an MVP season from Russell West- brook, the Thunder welcomed another superstar to OKC (who will probably break their hearts again in a year).
Fans were absolutely thrilled on Tuesday to greet Paul George at the Oklahoma City airport as hundreds of fans turned out for a first look at the new Thunder star.
The crowd was chanting "PG! PG!" as he made his way to give fans high-fives from the other side of a fence.
It was quite the welcome for George who was acquired from the Pacers.
Floyd Mayweather Vs. Conor McGregor Ticket Prices, On-Sale Date Set
FLOYD MAYWEATHER AND CONNOR MCGREGOR
Reportedly Discussing
Reggie Jackson Trade
The New Orleans Peli- cans committed $126 million to re-sign Jrue Holiday this summer, but they may still be looking to bolster the point guard position.
Michael Scotto of Bas- ketball Insiders reports on Tuesday that the Pelicans have discussed the possibil- ity of acquiring Reggie Jackson from the Detroit Pistons in exchange for E’T- waun Moore and Alexis Ajinca.
The 27-year-old Jack- son appears to have worn

out his welcome in Detroit and was even almost dealt to the Orlando Magic last trade deadline.
With a venue secured, ticketing information is now set for the showdown be- tween undefeated boxing su- perstar Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor.
Promoters recently se- cured T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for the Aug. 26 event after coming to an agreement whereby the Big 3 basketball league, which had originally been planning on holding its first championship game at the venue, agreed to move across the Strip to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
With the issue of where to hold the fight out of the way,
Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe an- nounced Tuesday on the first stop of the MayMac World Tour at Staples Center that tickets will go on sale to the general public on July 24.
Ringside seats will set you back $10,000 a pop, while the “cheap” seats will run you $500 each.
Prices in between the ex- tremes at the 20,000-seat fa- cility check in at $1,500, $2,500, $3,500, $5,000 and $7,500.
If you don't have several grand to spend on tickets, the pay-per-view will run at a price of $99.95 for high defi- nition.
Vince Wilfork Caught A Massive Fish
If Vince Wilfork does end up deciding to retire from football, the five-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle has found himself another hobby he appears to be quite good at — reeling in trophy fish.
On Tuesday, Wilfork shared a photo on Twitter of himself posing with a mas- sive fish.
For reference purposes, keep in mind that Wilfork’s playing weight is about 325 pounds. That is one mam- moth fish.
While Wilfork’s catch wasn’t quite as big as the one Mike Trout and his group

reeled in a few years back, it looks like Vince had less help. To those who have watched him play for the last decade-plus, that makes a lot of sense.
Hard Feelings Lonzo Ball Missed Summer League Matchup
Austin Rivers Called Chris Paul To Clear Air Over Clippers Exit
AUSTIN RIVERS AND CHRIS PAUL
DE’AARON FOX AND LONZO BELL
Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox was disap- pointed that he didn’t get to go up against Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball, who sat out Monday’s summer league game between the two teams with a groin injury.
But after the Lakers’ 95-92 win, in which Fox sat out most of the second half to address a minor right ankle injury, the former Kentucky star said he didn’t feel as though Ball was scared to face him.
“No one is ducking anybody at the end of the day,”Fox told reporters.
“He’s a competitor. If he’s hurt, like people say, it’s sum- mer league, don’t risk it. When I tweaked my ankle (in the third quarter of Monday’s game), coach took me out and said the same thing.”
A source stated that there’s no bad blood between Austin Rivers and Chris Paul.
In an interview that ran on Monday, Rivers revealed that he called Paul and they had a roughly 40-minute con- versation to clear the air over Paul’s exit from the Los An- geles Clippers.
“I called Chris and was like, ‘Chris, what’s going on?’” said Rivers. “Chris is like, ‘This is the biggest bulls— I’ve ever seen in my life.’ Chris was just like, ‘This is a joke.’ So I asked him, I’m like, ‘You don’t need to come
out and say nothing publicly, I don’t need you to do that. It’s just going to make it even more, now they’re going to drag it out two more days. I’ll take it. I don’t care. I’ve been dealing with this since I was six. I really don’t even care.
“What do I have to do with someone else’s move?” Rivers continued. “Chris wanted to move because he’d been [with the Clippers] for a while. He’s had great years there, but he wanted some- thing new. A lot of players want that. It’s really that sim- ple.”
