Tom Brady, left, looks on while a few of his Tampa Bay teammates workout on Tuesday at Berkeley Preparatory School.
Rob Gronkowski Reveals Weight Loss, How Close He Is To Gaining It Back
Tom Brady has finally put on his Buccaneers helmet. Brady led a small group of teammates through a two- hour workout at a local school. He was wearing an orange practice jersey over shoulder pads and his Bucs helmet as they worked out at Berkeley
Preparatory School.
Wide receiver Mike
Evans and center Ryan Jensen were among the play- ers there, as they get used to a new quarterback. Brady ap- parently walked Evans through some routes, as they get to know each other’s abili-
ties and preferences.
Also at the workout were
wide receiver Scotty Miller, tight ends Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard, quarter- backs Blaine Gabbert and Ryan Griffin, and running back Dare Ogunbowale.
The school is closed to stu- dents, and the new Bucs quar- terback got through without incident. He’s already been chased out of a public park and surprised a local home- owner when he walked into the wrong house while looking for offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich.
Cowboys' Aldon Smith Reinstated By NFL
Dallas Cowboys Reportedly Offer
Aldon Smith was rein- stated by the NFL on Wednes- day and is set to join the Dallas Cowboys in 2020.
After being out of the NFL since 2015, Smith isn't wor- ried about returning as rusty as The Tin Man after a long sea voyage.
Smith's once-promising NFL career was waylaid by off- field issues, including multiple DWI incidents, for which he was suspended by the league. After compiling 33.5 sacks in his first two seasons in 2011 and 2012 -- including 19.5 in

his second year -- it all began going sideways for Smith.
Turning 31 in September, Smith is now clean and sober. He hopes the renewed focus will help jump-start his career.
When Rob Gronkowski shed weight, a lot of people thought he was done with football.
There was no way he’d bulk back up to his playing weight after retiring from the New England Patriots.
Well, here he is back in the game. On his way, at least. And he’s finally talking about his much-speculated weight fluctuation. The new Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end talked about how much weight he actually lost in re- tirement on Wednesday and
Cam Newton Throwing, Working Out In Instagram Videos
CAM NEWTON
Cam Newton remains un- signed and could remain so for a while longer as an unprece- dented NFL offseason contin- ues to unfold.
The former NFL MVP, however, is doing what he can to show teams he's back to full health. Newton dispatched a series of Instagram posts this week showing off his throwing and workouts. The deep throws help display that the shoulder issues that plagued him the past several seasons are diminished. The workouts exhibit his surgically repaired foot is back to health.
The videos from Newton are notable and a positive sign. Still, given his injury history, it's likely teams will want their own medical personnel to get an up-close look at Newton before signing the veteran quarterback.
Until the NFL permits physicals, Newton will likely continue to wait to find his new home.
ROB GRONKOWSKI
where he is in the process of putting it back on.
How low did Gronk go?
“My lowest I got to was 240, and it felt good, you know,” Gronkowski said.
“I’ve been above 260 pounds basically my whole entire life since high school. Since senior year in high school, I was 260.
“I had never been under 260 since then. So it felt good just to drop that weight, ease up my joints, let my body free.”
Is he back to playing weight?
Gronkowski said he still has some progress to make, but he’s close to getting back to his playing weight. Just how close? About four protein shakes.
       Dak Prescott $175M
Dallas Cowboys quarter- back Dak Prescott has made it clear he wants to continue his career with the team that drafted him, but the two sides have been unable to come to an agreement with the mid- summer deadline looming to get a deal done.
Cowboys VP Stephen Jones said last week the Dal- las front office is doing every- thing it can to figure out a deal that works for both sides.
Speaking this week with the "K&C Masterpiece" pro- gram on Dallas radio station 105.3 The Fan, Pro Football Talk NFL analyst Chris Simms said that he's been told the Cowboys have offered Prescott a five-year, $175 million contract. That figure would be in line with the num-

bers of years Prescott has re- portedly been asking for and near his requested average per season.
Prescott played out the fourth and final year of his $2.7 million rookie deal last season and posted career-best numbers. He received the franchise tag in March from Dallas, but he hasn't signed the tender yet.
