MR. MELVIN BERNARD MCDANIELS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Melvin Bernard McDaniels of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, will be held Saturday, Jan- uary 26th, 11 a. m. at Aikens Fu- neral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Pastor Cleveland Lane, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Melvin Bernard McDaniels was born February 23, 1947 in Tampa, Florida, to the late Willie B. and Marie McDaniels. He at- tended the local schools of Hills- borough County. He was an avid domino player.
He was preceded in death by: his brothers, Alvin, Willie B “Bud,” Tyrone and Wayne; sis- ters, Maggie, Willie Mae and Leola.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his wife, Patricia Garrett McDaniels; chil- dren, Sharon Stokes (London) and DeQuan McDaniels; grand- children, Darius Stokes and Dakota Gainous; brothers, Nor- man McDaniels and Elton Mc- Daniels (Bettie); a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend, Andrew Anderson (Val).
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 25th from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service at 10:45 a. m.

A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Marlene Sharp of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019, will be held on Saturday, January 26th, 2 p. m. at New Dawn Restoration Center, 5308 E. Columbus Drive, Rev. Dr. Julia McMillan, Sr., pas- tor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Marlene was born to the late Ferman Edward Carwise and Lizzie May Bostick on April 25, 1944 in Tampa, Florida. She was raised in Tampa’s Sulphur Springs area of town and at- tended Middleton High School before marrying the love of her life, Willie B. Sharp, Sr. for 51 years. She was a loving and de- voted stay-at-home wife, mother, grandmother and great- grand- mother that loved caring for oth- ers throughout the family.
Her hobbies included listen- ing to gospel music, being the family comedian, while telling you like it is and doing ceramics.
She leaves to cherish her memories with: her loving hus- band, Willie B. Sharp, Sr.; chil- dren, caring and devoted daughter, Karlene Sharp; sons, Willie B. Sharp, Jr., Anthony Sharp (Elizabeth), Andrew

ing.Lisa was a native of Tampa and was a graduate of Jefferson High School, Class of 1988. She furthered her education at the University of Florida where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and Nova Southeastern University where she earned her Master’s degree in Mathematics. Lisa was a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Beverly Jean Bel- lamy; her father, Joseph Louis Fitzpatrick; and nieces, Tavondria Mays and Jakeem Goodman.

Kathy was born November 15, 1954 in Tampa, Florida, to the late Dothan Richardson and Eloise Scott. She was a member of Highland Avenue Church of Christ and enjoyed sewing and pottery ceramics. She graduated from Chamberlain High School. She worked for the Hillsbor- ough County Department of Ed- ucation and later retired from the Hillsborough County Sher- iff’s Office. She married Romello Rodriguez, Sr. on May 9, 1973.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Dothan Richard- son; husband, Romello Ro- driguez, Sr., and granddaughter, Porche Tim- mons.
