'Voices Of Fire': Netflix Sets Gospel Music Series With Pharrell Williams
BISHOP EZEKIEL WILLIAMS AND PHARRELL WILLIAMS
Netflix has announced a new unscripted gospel music series, Voices of Fire, from Pharrell Williams. The se- ries follows Williams’ hometown community of Hampton Roads, Virginia as it builds one of the world’s most inspiring gospel choirs. It will premiere on the streaming giant later this year.
The official description: Voices of Fire follows Phar- rell Williams’ hometown community as it builds one of
the world’s most inspiring gospel choirs. Pharrell’s uncle and a well-respected musical genius in the area, Bishop Ezekiel Williams and his core team of influen- tial gospel leaders will ven- ture out into Hampton Roads to find undiscovered talent. With the belief that diverse backstories can give their col- lective voice a greater mean- ing, the Bishop and his team will be searching for people of all ages, ethnicities and back- grounds.
