This week, it’s time for the camera to focus on Dani as our Spotlight feature for this week. This young lady is especially unique in that she truly en- joys being photographed. She is confident, attrac- tive, and knows that success for her will involve a lot of hard work and dedication. Dani enjoys being around anyone who can enhance her desire to be successful. Town Hall Meetings Planned On Education Referendum

Hillsborough County Public School Superin- tendent Jeff Eakins has planned a series of Town Hall Meetings in coming weeks. The purpose of the meetings is to discuss and answer questions about the Education Referendum that will appear on the General Election ballot on November
6th.During the meetings, Su- perintendent Eakins will inform voters about the needs of the schools and pos- itive impact a half-penny sales tax referendum would have on students, schools and community.
The meetings are open to the general public.
Superintendent Eakins will lead the meetings on the follow- ing dates and locations:
September 18, 6 p.m. at South Tampa Fellowship Ballast Point Campus, 5101

October 23, 7 p.m. at The Chapel at FishHawk, 6026 Churchside Dr., Lithia.
During the town hall meetings, Superintendent Eakins will also share infor- mation about the state of the school district, opportunities made available for students and the $2 billion challenge the community is facing be- cause of inadequate state funding.
Each meeting will provide families, district employees and community members the opportunity to get their questions about the referen- dum answered by Superin- tendent Eakins.

Tampa Housing Authority Board Meeting
The Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Tampa is scheduled for Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 8:30 a. m. at the Ad- ministration Offices, 5301 West Cypress Street, Tampa Florida 33607.
Any person, who might wish to appeal any decision made by the Board of Commissioners, with respect to any matter con- sidered at this meeting, is advised that he/she will need a record of the proceedings; for such purpose, he/she may need to en- sure that a verbatim record of the proceedings be made, which will include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be asked.
All Board Meetings are open to the public.
