  Two Seriously Injured In Traffic Accident
 Two Semi Tractor Trailers Collide On Interstate I-75
 The Florida Highway Pa- trol is investigating a traffic accident involved two semi tractor trailers. The accident took place early Monday in the Southbound lanes of In- terstate I-75.
According to the investiga- tors, Michael A. Richard- son, 58, of Charlotte, North Carolina, was driving a 2010 KW. He was transporting U. S. Mail, when the accident took place just north of Big Bend Road.
Emmanuel K. Bel- lamy, 25, of Opa Locka, FL, was driving a 2018 Interna- tional Semi. His vehicle was transporting water and pro- duce. His vehicle was stopped on the paved shoulder of the road with two flat tires.
Investigators said Richardson to failed main- tain a single lane, partially en- tered the outside shoulder, and collided with the rear of the stopped semi. Richard- son was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he was listed in serious condi- tion. Bellamy did not report any injuries.
As a result of the crash, a large portion of mail was scat- tered across the southbound portion of Interstate 75.

     Two people are in serious condition after being involved in a traffic accident. The acci- dent took place Saturday night on County Road 54 and Grand Oaks Blvd., in Pasco County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Cooper James Gil, 28, of Dade City, was driving a 1998 Volkswa- gen Jetta, westbound on County Road 54, approaching Grand Oaks Blvd. There were no passengers in his vehicle at the time of the accident.
Ms. Desiree Murphy,
24, of Land O’Lakes, was driv- ing a 2014 Honda Civic, south- bound on Grand Oaks Blvd. Her passenger was Brayan Diaz, 20, of Tampa,
Ms. Paula Ortiz, 24, of Land O’ Lakes, was driving a 2004 Acura TSX. Her passen- ger was David Roman, 23, also of Land O’ Lakes. Ms. Ortiz, who was traveling
westbound on County Road 54, was stopped at the traffic light.
As Ms. Murphy began to turn left, her vehicle was struck by Gil’s vehicle, as he entered the intersection against the red light.
After striking the front of Ms. Murphy’s vehicle, Gil’s vehicle rotated and collided with Ms. Ortiz.
Both Gil and David Roman were ejected from their vehicles.
Gil was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital and Roman was transported to Advent Health. Both were listed in serious condition.
None of the others in- volved in the accident re- ported any injuries.
Gil was charged with run- ning a red light, not wearing a seat belt, and having an ex- pired tag.

     Woman Killed Crossing Busy Intersection
 A 39-year-old woman died Sunday morning after being struck by a car. The ac- cident took place on Bruce B. Downs Blvd., north of State Road 56.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman, who is from out of town, re- portedly attempted to cross Bruce B. Downs Blvd., at Legacy Blvd., and stepped into the path of an oncoming vehicle. After the collision, the woman was transported to Advent Health, of Wesley Chapel, where she later died.
No charges have been filed against Daniel Scott Horwitz, 51, of Wesley Chapel, who was driving the
2016 Toyota Corolla involved inthefatalaccident.
The woman’s name has
not been released pending notification of her next of kin.
