The Charmettes, Inc. Hosts Miss Junior Debutante 2019 Coronation
 On Sunday, May 19, 2019, the young, beautiful, and vi- brant De’Ani Burns was crowned “Miss Junior Deb, 2019.” The former “Miss Junior Deb, 2016,” Victo- ria Williams, passed the title and crown to the new Queen. The crowning of the new Queen was the highlight of the Hillsborough County Chapter of The Charmettes, Inc. 34thAnnual Miss Junior Debu- tant Coronation, held at the Ragan Park Community Cen- ter.
De’Ani is an 8th grade stu- dent at Mann Middle School. A member of the Pentecostal Church Of God, her hobbies include music, movies, and sports. She has received hon- ors in cheerleading and soft- ball. Her parents are Dimitrius and Anitris Burns. Group 4 members: Charmettes Margaret LeGree, Luvator Nelson, Jacqueline Wilds, LeJoan Franklin, and Ora Chester were her sponsors.
Contestant Tre’Shai Mc- Carthy was the first runner up. Tre’Shai is an 8th grade student at Woodmont Charter School, a member of St. John Progressive M. B. Church, and enjoys dancing, cheerleading,

and sports. Tre’Shai has re- ceived honors in Spelling, track, field medals, and cheer- leading. She is the daughter of Shavarna Cobb, and the granddaughter of Clara Cobb. Group 1 members: Charmettes Joyce Austin, Antonia Barber, Cheryl Baker, Audrey Dawson, and Benettye Davis were her sponsors.
Contestant Alicia Wyche was the second runner up. Alicia is a student at Roland Park Middle School, where she is a member of the Principal’s Honor Roll. She also enjoys arts and reading. Her parents are Albert Wyche and Earl- ishia Oates. Group 3 mem-
