    The Stage Is Set
he United States is going to war with Iran. While I'm sure most
people hope that's not the case, going by the script cur- rently playing out before us, that appears to be exactly what's about to happen.
In fact, it probably should have begun several weeks ago when Iran shot down a U. S. drone. But, in a rare show of restraint, Donald Trump threw a monkey wrench into the plan by calling off a retal- iatory airstrike.
Since then Iran, who's been giving an Oscar-winning performance as a fiendish super villain, has gone above and beyond to provoke world powers in every way possible. First they openly admitted to cranking up their nuclear pro- gram, then they allegedly at- tacked two oil tankers and now they've seized a British vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.
With each incident conve- niently painting Iran as a global menace, all it would take now is for American blood to be spilled in a timely terrorist attack that can be at-
tributed to Iranian operatives and the justification to wipe this bothersome Middle East- ern nation off the map will be solidified.
That is when the American people will, once again, be duped into believing that Iran is a threat to be dealt with and Operation Persian Rug (or whatever catchy name they'll come up with) will commence.
If all of this sounds eerily familiar, it should. We've al- ready seen this movie three times before, twice in Iraq and once in Afghanistan. If the U. S. begins a bombing campaign on Tehran it will be just an- other version of the same pre- fabricated bull---- we've been witnessing for the last 30 years.
They want everyone to buy into the idea that dismantling the Iranian government is nec- essary to keep the world safe. But, the fact of the matter is that, all it will really be is a money grab for the super rich.
The only people who will ultimately benefit from any kind of conflict will be the con- tractors who will come in to
rebuild the cities destroyed, the companies who provide the weaponry needed for the task, the oil barons who will gain control of a massive re- serve and the banks who will provide the financing for all of the above..... The soldiers and civilians who die in the process won't even be an afterthought.
Men such as Trump ad- viser John Bolton (one of the individuals who came up with the bogus Weapons Of Mass Destruction excuse to invade Iraq), who are pushing the issue behind the scenes are doing so because they, most likely, have an invested inter- est in a major engagement. Whether it's successful or not, they know one thing for cer- tain, a check will be in the mail.
There is a reason why army generals use terms like "ac- tors," "theatre," "concert" and "stage" when giving briefings on military affairs.
They understand that, re- gardless of how much they wish they were true patriots fighting for their country, in actuality they're merely props used by greedy show produc- ers who want to keep the rest of us afraid and anxious while they, literally, get away with murdering for profit.

     ‘She’s Not My Type’
or years to come, historians will mull over the
smug response President Donald Trump gave re- garding his being accused of rape. He snapped as an af- terthought, “She’s not my type!” which caused us to wonder, given the slew of scandalous implications that have dogged this current commander-in-chief, what women seem to have been “his type.”
Was the porn star who accused him of sexual com- plicity, “Trump’s type?” Was the woman (or women) whose private parts he bragged about groping, “his type?” And what about his wife, blonde Eastern Euro- pean-American-naturalized young woman who is ru- mored to be sleeping either in separate beds or in separate bedrooms, “his type?”
Indeed, other names might be mentioned such as Kelly-Anne Conway who, to her husband’s utter em- barrassment, has become Trump’s most unabashed cheerleader . . . obviously she’s his type.
Nevertheless, no matter how hard they try, Trump’s groupies seem equaled, if not overwhelmed, by women who are NOT his type. Take, for instance, Hillary Clin- ton, Kamala Harris, and Nancy Pelosi, who have been given the collective Trump title of “nasty women.”
Add to that list, the names of four freshmen female Congress persons who recently spoke up and were tweetingly put down by the present POTUS who de- manded they go back where they came from . . . to De- troit, Chicago, etc...
Does it matter that they were all women-of-color, not his type?
So, it would seem a pattern of presidential likes and dislikes has developed. But thus far, one name is mis- used. French-born, American naturalized, she now re- sides in New York City. But based on what she has stood for throughout the years, we are confident that she’s not Trump’s type. Perhaps, you know her name. She is called the Statue of Liberty.
  You’re Worth More Than That
"A bar of iron costs $5, made into horseshoes its worth is $12, made into needles its worth is $3,500, made into bal- ance springs for watches, its worth is $300,000. Your own value is deter- mined also by what you are able to make of your- self." –
Your value is not measured by the amount of money in your bank account. You’re worth more than that.
Your value is not deter- mined by the brand of shoes on your feet or the clothes on your back. You’re worth more
than that.
Your value is not predi-
cated on the style of car you drive or the neighborhood you live in. You’re worth more than that.
Your value is not even in the number of college degrees you possess. You’re worth more than that.
Your value is not in the bit- ter words that have been spo- ken over your life. You’re worth more than that.
Your value is not in the physical beatings you have had to endure. You’re worth more than that.
Your value is not in the mental anguish you’ve with- stood. You’re worth more than that.
Your value is not in the as- saults that have been made on your character or the chal- lenges as to your integrity. You’re worth more than that.
Others may not recognize your worth because it has been buried. You may not recognize your worth because you’ve been tarnished, bruised or broken. Regardless of that, re- member that a crushed dia- mond is still a diamond. And you’re worth more than that!
Life experiences give you value that cannot be meas- ured. Your worth can never lose its value. It can never di- minish or depreciate. Like fine wine your worth gets better in time.
