Enough Is Enough
I am utterly embar- rassed, shocked, and dis- appointed in the current state of this country, the USA, this country that I spent 21 years serving as a member of the United States Air Force.
This country where my father served during World War II in the U. S. Army; this country in which my older brother served during the Viet Nam War as a member of the U. S. Army; and yes, this country in which my younger brother served honorably for 4 years in the U. S. Army.
The racism that cur- rently exists is an insult and a slap in the face to veterans who have ever served this great country. It is even more so to the current ones who are serving here and abroad.
The military prides it- self on teamwork and mission accomplishment regardless of race, creed, or color. We have a cur- rent president who should be a Commander- In-Chief. Are you kidding me?
The recent state of af- fairs in Virginia blew my mind, but even more so, the response by this man to this event. To have a president who condones and makes excuses for hate-filled organizations like the Klan and white supremacists Neo-Nazi
groups.
It makes me sick to my
stomach. The fact that this man is even in the White House is an indict- ment of this country.
You have the nerve to question where former President (Barack) Obama was born, where were you born --- be- cause you sound like you were born on Pluto!
As far as flags go, there’s only one --- and it’s not called “Dixie” or “Rebel.”
I have been to many countries and I’ve never found the need to look at the color of my skin nor fear for my safety. We worry about North Korea, Russia, and Iran.
If this man is not re- moved from office soon, this country may im- plode with another kind of war. We cannot afford to have a so-called leader who won’t rebuke racism and give racist kooks confidence and encour- agement.
The best thing this man can do for this coun- try is to pack up and leave and take his under- cover racist cronies with him!
As we say in the mili- tary, Fall Out! And “You’re Dismissed!”
