Big Brothers Big Sisters Of Tampa Bay Launches ‘100 Men In 100 Days’ Campaign
The organization is focused on re- cruiting more men to serve as volun- teer mentors to local boys.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay is launching its annual campaign to enroll more male mentors, called 100 Men in 100 Days.
The need has never been greater, as there are hundreds of Tampa Bay children on the organization’s waiting list, and the vast majority of them are boys seeking a positive male role model in their lives. These are boys who, with the approval of their parent or legal guardian, have raised their hand and asked for help from Big Brothers Big Sisters.
The campaign kicked off on Fri- day, August 18 and runs through November 25. Last year more than 150 men completed their Big Brother Big Sisters orientation and training’ during the “100 Men in 100 Days” Campaign, and the organization is hoping to exceed that number in 2017.
Anyone interested in becoming a Big can get started by attending one
of the Big Orientation and Training sessions. For a complete schedule of sessions near you, go to the website at www.bbbstampabay.org and follow the “Volunteer” links.
Also, check the website regularly for a list of 100 Men in 100 Days events and progress toward the goal.

The movie is free, but there will be an offering collected.
BY GWEN HAYES Sentinel Editor
A movie touching on faith and marriage will be presented on Satur- day, August 26, 2017 at the Center For Manifestation (CFM), 3102 E. Lake Ave., Tampa 33605. The pre- miere red carpet event is at 5 p. m., followed by the movie at 6:30 p. m.
“Amen, And It Is So,” is a film that will show the highs and lows of trust as well as the strength to move for- ward; even in the midst of hurts and disappointments.
However, faith is the million dol- lar question.
This film is about six friends with different issues that will challenge their faith.
Joshua and Nicole Harrison are the main couple who have it all; some would say.....money, charm, ca- reer, and their Love for GOD. How- ever, the knock of wanting children will not stop.
Though temptation and heart break arise, will GOD's Word prevail? Not only for them, but also for their close friends, Derrick, London, Kevin and Tina.
This original script is written by Christal May for Charlie T. Produc- tions/BGM Studios, a “theatre min- istry on the move for Christ, winning the lost...,” the website says.
“The cast total is about 15 and

Bingham, Jr., who also produced the music score; Keith Williams (of BMG Studios), camera- man and producer; and Rigoberto Diaz is the Chief Executive Producer.
