Jill Scott Recently Gets Married
Jill Scott, her new husband, Mike Dobson and their children at the ceremony.
The soulful Philly songstress has built her successful music career singing about the trials and triumphs of love, life and womanhood, and now she's found her happily ever after with a new husband by her side.
One of handful of celebrities who've managed to keep their private life out of the spotlight, Scott has done so for most of her career. Jill's nuptials may come as a surprise to some, but it is surely a celebratory moment for fans and music lovers who have had a front row seat to her life through her passionately personal lyrics for
over a decade.
Although Jill herself has yet
to speak on her recent walk down the aisle, video clips of her big day have surfaced on social media by way of DJ Mars, who is a close friend of the groom and kept the party going at their reception.
Speaking to a room filled with close friends and family at the private affair Jill's new husband, Mike Dobson was in awe of his blushing bride as she smiled from ear-to-ear standing by his side. "I teared up when she came down but I don't wanna tear up now," he says with a huge grin.

Birdman appeared on ESPN, and talked about he and Lil Wayne’s bets.
LILL WAYNE
Lil Wayne is a frequent guest on ESPN, so he knows how things are run around there.
Well, Weezy did not approve of the sports network's recent guest, Birdman, who ap- peared on "Highly Question- able."
"[H]ighly questionable is hii- iiiighly questionable today," the Young Money rapper wrote on Twitter after the mogul ap- peared on the show.
In the interview, Birdman talked about the rumored story where he and Lil Wayne bet $10,000 on Madden video games. T-Pain said the two put the amount at stake to watch the computers play each other.
The Cash Money leader says the story is partially true and that they did bet "every time we play, at least 10 bands, at least, minimum.”
"He really a sport addict," Birdman says of Wayne. "I’m a sport head. We played the game and bet definitely, but not at the computer. We would be playing ourself.”
Despite their feud, the man also known as Baby still calls Weezy his "son" and says that he treated him as one while playing the video games.

Kanye West Inks Deal With Adidas That Could Make Him A Billionaire
Expanding his brand to billionaire status, Kanye West inks major deal.
Future continues to stack up the wins. The Atlanta rap- per covers the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine.
Among the topics covered in the feature story, is Future Hendrix’s recording method. Even up close, his songwriting method is hard to compre- hend.
Seth Firkins, his longtime engineer, a friendly stoner with a John Belushi vibe, compares Future to a “medi- cine man.
Until he gets on the mic, he can be silent for 45 minutes at a time. Eventually, without a word, Future disappears into the vocal booth, in front of a portrait of Jay Z, and begins rapping.
After years of collaboration, he and Firkins have an un- canny bond: Without any in- struction, the engineer always knows when to cue up the
Adidas inked a deal with Kanye West for an undis- closed amount to expand his Yeezy brand, which has the potential to turn the fashion designer into a billionaire. The German sportswear company announced the deal Wednes- day (June 29).
The deal is being described as the "most significant part- nership between a non-athlete and a sports brand," and in- cludes plans of opening Yeezy retail shops that will sell his coveted Yeezy kicks, apparel and accessories. Additionally, Ye will also be responsible for designing athletic wear for basketball and football play- ers.
Adidas is reportedly upping the ante by hiring a design team with some of the best in the industry.
It will take a few years to get the stores and merchandising together, but the projections point to a potential billion dol- lar cashflow, a far cry from his previous deal of $10 million with adidas in 2014.
This will compete with Le- Bron James' lifetime deal with Nike. The NBA All-Star signed a deal worth an undis- closed amount, but his busi- ness manager, Maverick Carter, said the deal is valued at more than a billion dollars. West hinted at this price tag in his Nike diss track.
